Used to hang an extremely heavy mirror that used to be top mounted to a dresser. Saved us a lot of money as we did not have to buy a new mirror and I am very confident there will be no problem with the weight.

Wanted to get heavier duty hardware to hold my heavy 50lb mirror with wooden backboard onto my wall. Was easy to install on my own. Holds great and doesn't move at all.Will update this review if I wake up with glass shattered all over my bedroom though...been steady for good 6 months so far.

Used 2 on a plaster and lath wall to hang a solid wood headboard (we use two twin bead frames instead of a single king). Our wall was at a minimum a quarter inch off of flat, and our old house doesn't have wall studs a standard distance apart, so it took a little finesse to get both (a) as many fasteners into studs as possible and (b) enough washers installed behind the cleat to make sure it was flat enough that it would mount the actually flat (or mostly flat) headboard. None of these are faults of the cleat itself, but are common enough problems that it's something to take into consideration. I think more options for places to put the fasteners would be possible, without compromising the structural integrity of the cleats, which would make it 5 stars.

I wanted cleats in my painting studio to hang canvases I would be working on. I wondered who I could get to rip some wooden ones on a table saw. Then I thought of these! I bought the 30" sets and the 6" sets. The biggest worry I had was finding the sizes from the same company to be sure they would work together. These match and work well. I put the 30" on the wall and a couple of 6" on a blank canvas. And they don't take up valuable floor space and hang level. Also the edges are exposed all around the perimeter of the canvas so I can paint the sides all at once and not have to flip it around on an easel when the first two sides have dried.Also, if i want to hang several pieces at once I can. And if I want some sort of small horizontal tray on the wall beneath the painting for paints or whatever I can build that easily. Yay!

Just as described and met my needs. They are perfect.

I purchased to hang a heavy mirrored medicine cabinet. Added a few screws to the bottom of the cabinet with rubber washers to keep the cabinet stable when opening doors. It made it easier to hang it level. Recommend!

Holds well

If you want to hang a mirror or a picture securely on your wall, this is the way to do it! Installation is a bit difficult, but worth the effort.
