I spent many hours reviewing foam mattresses with the hope of finding the best suited for me and my wife. I was extremely concerned about buying an uncomfortable product and was limited to a budget of $500 for a king size. We purchased this mattress to replace a 20-year premium branded mattress that started to cause us to sink into the foam and became very comfortable just about a year ago (no complaints after such a long life). This new mattress is on the medium-firm side with great side support (a major complaint of others). To sum it up-great price, quality look and performance, inflated from the packaging to the full size as indicated, doesn’t overheat at night (also using a 100% cotton mattress cover and sheets) and is in our view, very comfortable for 2 not so small side sleepers searching for a balance between firmness and comfort (provides both equally) and fiberglass free! I rarely write reviews, but I wanted to help others who may be in doubt. My greatest fear was buying a mattress and after inflation, finding that it had to be returned due to discomfort. If you are looking for a super soft or a super firm mattress, don’t purchase this one, but if you are looking for a premium hotel-like mattress with a luxury feel and comfort, this one has to be one of the best in the market at an affordable price. We transitioned our toddler from a crib to a bed recently and choose this mattress. It was so important to me that the mattress was fiberglass-free. So many reviews of other mattresses would describe how the fiberglass made its way up and could be seen on the sheets. I did not want to expose my child to that no matter how fire retardant it is.Fiberglass is often used in the production of mattresses that are affordable so I was expecting to pay a lot but then I found this and I was thrilled.The Chita mattress is affordable, nice looking, cool from the gel, and very comfortable. I would say it’s moderately firm. My toddler loves that it hugs her when she’s in bed. It’s also perfect because we live in Florida and she’s a human furnace so it definitely keeps her comfortable temp wise and she’s choosing to use her comforter now.When the mattress arrived it was vacuum sealed. It only took a few minutes to completely puff up though it says that it could be a few hours on the packaging. We got it in the afternoon and set up her big girl bed. She slept in it that night and slept like a rock. I barely saw her change positions on the baby monitor. There was no odor at all but the pamphlet said allow 1-2 weeks for it to dissipate if you do have some.

We like a firm mattress. I am a stomach sleeper who can’t handle a sag. This mattress did not fluff up to the full 11” but I do not care because it is appropriately firm!! If height is critical for you, this may not be the mattress to try - but if you need a firm mattress as a side or stomach sleeper - this one is da bomb! We left it on the bed for 48 hours before sleeping on it - we slept on the old mattress in the living room floor for a couple of nights. That’s not convenient, but we wanted to follow instructions. There was no odor like some foam mattresses we’ve had before. We have owned 3 tempurpedic mattresses and this one reminds me most of our first - it was a simple 8” firm mattress for an adjustable bed. We loved that thing and its why we went with another of the same brand later only to be disappointed. We have since decided that replacing a less expensive foam mattress every few years is cheaper than thousands on a tempurpedic that doesn’t last 10 years. I’ll be buying this brand going forward. We have a king size, We are 59 and 62 years old, one of us has had a limbar laminectomy already, the other of us has spinal stenosis, we weigh 260 and 160 and we both find this mattress to be very comfortable.

Compared to some of the other cheaper mattresses, this one skipped correctly and the product was 'as described'. The mattress inflated perfectly all the way, filling up the corners beautifully. Even the cover that makes it look pretty looks really nice, I love it! It presents well!I don't like the firmness as much as I thought I would. It's not hard, just not as 'memory foam' as I was expecting, which could also be because of the price point. It's nice but not great. It's a good guest bed, not main bed.if you really want a better quality maybe pay a little more. If you're just looking for a nice 'right now' bed or extra bed for a guest bedroom, this would be great!

I LOVE this bed! It’s nice to hop in bed and feel no discomfort in the morning. When the bed arrived, we had to let it sit for about 48 hours to fully expand. We’ve had the bed for about a year now and I have to say that I can finally sleep on my own side without rolling into the center of the bed. This bed does NOT require a box spring, but is still very comfy. It did not have any sort of funny smell when it arrived, I noticed some reviews had mentioned that, but I did not experience that. Overall, GREAT bed, GREAT purchase! I did pair some bamboo sheets with it, and it’s amazing getting into bed and feeling the chill from the bed and sheets. You will no longer wake up with night sweats. This bed will keep you nice and cool!
