What more do you need to know
Been a drummer for nearly 30 years. Hands down Wuhan always makes quality cymbals that sound great! Largely comparable to any major brand. For the money, you can't beat the sound. And particularly durable.

Best Splash Cymbal for the Money!
The media could not be loaded. This is a great sounding splash for an unbeatable price! I’m not made of money so I decided to try the Wuhan splash as I have had great luck with their products before. The sound it produces is a sharp attack-exactly what you want in an accent cymbal. I also had a hard time deciding on what size splash to get. I got the 8” one because I figured the 6” would be too small and the 10” wouldn’t give me the bright sound I was looking for. The construction is on the thick side so it should be pretty durable. I highly recommend Wuhan cymbals!!

Wuhan head to head with Z and Sabian
They pass the blindfold sound test VS Z or S

Fantastic sound, best price
I've been playing on and off for over 30 years, and although I wish I could afford high end equipment I can't. That leaves me settling for what I can get, and with cymbals that usually means crappy sounds (drums can sound better with good heads and good tuning). I bought a Sabian xs 16 inch crash not long ago for about $50-60, and it sounds like it - crappy. These Wuhan splashes are the exception to the rule. They're dirt cheap and they sound great. Really great. As in "I could never justify spending more than $25 on a splash again" great. I got the 8 and 10 inch and could not be happier with the sound.

Not the cymbal that is pictured
this is as over June 2012:I bought this cymbal, but the one that was shipped was NOT the same cymbal as is in the picture.I had bought an 8" Wuhan previously as part of their "Traditional and Rock Splash Cymbal Pack" back when it was like, $25 for both, and was immensely impressed with the cymbals. Not only were they dirt cheap, they actually sounded better than some "high-end" Zildjians and Meinls I had. Since then, someone has realized they could charge more for the cymbals, which is legit, $25 was ridiculous. However, someone has also switched out the cymbals for something worse - I question whether it's even actually Wuhan anymore. The cymbal I recieved seems to be b8 and doesn't sound as good as the "old" version, which seemed to be b20. It looks like the cymbal pictured here: [...]That being said, it doesn't sound all too awful, so if you need a cheap splash, go ahead and buy, just know you're getting something different. I am not sure if you can still get the old version as part of the "Traditional and Rock Splash Cymbal Pack," which still has a picture of the old style.

Can't beat it for the money
These are great sounding splashes. For the money nothing will beat it. It would be recommended to try before you buy if you can because they all don't sound the same since they are handmade. These have a pleasing splash sound with a slight dark trashy undertone which reminds me of the zildjian oriental trash splashes which I own and love. Their not going to sound like a zildjian k or a paiste signature but they have a great sound which you may even prefer

Doesn't sound the same as my 8 year old one, more tin-ee but still nice!
