Q: How do you increase the flame?

I polish the Rosewood after each time I fill it. Use the run off from filling it. I keep a really soft cloth just for this. One of the microfiber cloths works. If you don't have one at home, try the dollar store. I usually start with the actual lighter, the part that goes into the Rosewood case. Wile it clean so you aren't getting any corrosion. Then the fluid that is left on the cloth wipe the entire Rosewood with it until it shines, is totally dry, and no prints left. Let it sit a short time in the air and it will ve good to go. There will be no smell of fuel. As far as I can tell they come from the factory with a shorter wick. It's all there, all you need is a small pair of pointed nose pliers or really strong tweezers, and pull the wick toward you. You may need to pull a little harder at first, but once you feel it move let up on the wick a little and just pull it to the length you want it. Like any wick the more you see the higher the flame. Too much wick is a waste, both on fuel and wick. Good luck. This really only takes a couple more minutes after you fill it.

Q: What can the flint and wick be replaced with?

The same wick and flint you'd purchase for a Zippo lighter. It's what I used to replace the one I own and it worked with no issues.

they were wrong I received exactly the color I wanted, give it back if I don't like it, they have to send the correct one
