Great value
Works just like the name brand filters.

So nice to enjoy drinking tap water again, and at a bargain price!
Using these filters in my Brita pitcher is a sensible way to achieve very palatable tap water, and at a more reasonable price than the name brand filter replacements. Since we have a water softener, our tap water has that “water softener flavor” which many find somewhat unpleasant. These filters have upped our water intake without resorting to buying water bottles (an ecological disaster). At this time (2/2023), the price is much better deal than name brand or generic filters at Walmart, Target, and Kroger. Highly recommended.

A good fit for my pitcher
I was a little nervous since this was like buying a generic filter, but these are great in my older Britta pitcher. I would buy them again.

Nasty smelly odor
Had massive amount of bacteria growth resulting in some really smelly containers. It didn't matter what type of container I uses plastic or metal. I had contigo and a metal takeya bottles. They ended up smelling like rotten eggs and the water was gross. Had to disinfect with bleach and soak with dishwasher detergent and baking soda multiple times to get rid of the odor. Bought the old brands that I usually buy with 5 layers filtering and I'm back to having clean fresh tasting water the way you normally expect from a simple water filter. 4 of 5 of these filter gave me the odors. I cleaned and disinfected with soap and bleach each time it would happen. Also soaked with baking soda until smell was completely gone. Dried for a day before I'd refill my bottles from water that's been filtered with these filters and 4 of 5 filter produced water and bottles with this rotten egg odor. Totally gross. I threw the last one away. The new filters I bought that I usually buy are working as it has always worked over many years of use. I can't believe how bad filters can be. I thought they all the same thing and should work the same way but boy was I wrong. For a few cents more get the 5 stage filters everybody.

Does not filter
Fits in my pitcher fine, however they do not filter, no water passes through at all. I need to constantly take them out and shake them around to get them to start working, and on the off chance they start filtering in their own it is so VERY painfully SLOW.
