I keep 1 of these in my purse and the other I rotate between my hiking camera bag and the bag I use when we walk down the hill to the mailbox. This brand stopped a pit bull coming after us in full-on attack mode. Stopped him immediately.

I've never had to use it but it has a good distance that I have tested just to see how it feels after I got it. I'll leave it next to my front door in a corner just in case somebody comes to the door that tries to give problems

Nice size can of "NO" repellant! We do a lot of hiking/biking/camping, and I wanted something like this which has an ample supply of spray "just in case." Have not needed to use it yet, but the company reviews by independent reviewers looks promising.Nice size can, fits your hand well. Features a flip top, spring loaded safety protect flap that covers the spray button. Downside - no clip, no holster, no holder. You will either need to purchase a carry holster, or fashion a clip of some type.

Unfortunately I've had to use it twice, to repel a charging dog, and it works just as advertised. It has maximum concentrations of the active ingredient, easy to carry, easy to aim. The last time was just a few days ago, large German Shephard, painted her face good within about 10ft. She immediately turned around and ran away. I also carry a .45, but that is last resort, I will always carry this when walking my 2 small dogs. I don't remember seeing this in the instructions, but I have read in other places to be sure to shake it well occasionally to keep the active ingredients properly suspended in the spray, so I shake it about once a week.
