What happens if I put one of this on a tom?

It's not for Tom's but, if u do, get less overtone

Would this patch work on mesh heads (V-Drums) ?

Just received and did not stick on my Roland KD10 initially. After placing it and letting it sit for 2-3 days without use, it adhered to the mesh head. Will update if it falls off after use.
