I've used this shaving foam for sometime. This is the first time I got the barbershop, could not be happier with the great shave it produces. This is my all time favorite from a great company.You owe it to yourself to try it.

Amazing how much it expands with very little effort. Very fragrant but it doesn't seem to stick around in any annoying way, I had a few people say I smelled great but it wasn't too much. I get a nice shave with a straight razor and safety razor while moisturizing my face. I enjoyed just lathering it up at first to find how much water I need and it works with a lot or a little depending on your skin sensitivity needs.I'll definitely be getting more of this.

I really like this soap. This is my first shave soap that I've ever purchased after only using the canned goo and electric shavers for years. It lathers immediately to a dense cream and spreads easily on the face with my synthetic brush. I wouldn't personally "bloom" the soap by soaking it in water. This will consume the soap much faster and just isn't necessary due to its excellent lathering properties. I enjoy the Barbershop scent and can't wait to order my next puck from this company to try a new scent out. The only negative thing to say about it is that it does leave my face feeling a bit dry, but I tend to have dry skin and it IS a soap which will tend to do that anyway. Just use a post shave balm or oil if you also get a bit dried out from the soap. 5 stars from me!

Was there a bad batch of the barbershop scent shave soap? I purchased it here on Amazon a couple of weeks ago and have used it numerous times so far, but there is no smell to it. Maybe a very light hand soap scent but that’s a weak maybe. Not like at the barber though. If it weren’t for the container label I would think it is an unscented soap.Hoping I just got a bad one as i was going to try some of the other shave soaps because form them because they lather very well. If they are all pretty much unscented though it would be nice to know.I sent them an email to ask, but it shows to be a bad email address.Quick update- The seller contacted me and offered a full refund. I declined as I do plan to finish using it and like I mentioned, it lathers up great and does work well, it just didn’t have a fragrance. I thought the follow up was a great touch and it was appreciated. The seller clearly has a good grasp on customer service so for that, thank you. I increased the rating as the customer service is very good and earned that. Again the product does work well.
