AO CoolersCarbon Soft Cooler with High-Density Insulation

I bought my first set of AO Coolers 10+ yrs ago (set of 3) and LOVED them. The coolers were nearly bullet proof after year’s of use (boating, camping, tailgating, fishing, hunting). Finally after 10+ years, I chose to replace the mid size cooler with a newer version. I was excited about the new color/finish options as well as updated features. Unfortunately, after less than 1 year of use (mostly boating) the new cooler is completely broke down. The side straps have come apart at the seams, the shoulder strap clip has broken, and the cooler itself is leaking between the interior liner and the exterior vinyl. After a few hours of use, the melted ice water will saturate the insulation rendering the cooler extremely heavy and soggy to lug around. Not to mention no longer insulating and serving it’s purpose. I was a huge AO fan for years and told everyone about them, but something has changed in the manufacturing of these once-great coolers. It’s possible I got a dud, but I have no way of contacting AO to request a replacement. If someone reads this that can make it right, please respond.

I rarely write reviews--shame on me because I use them to make my purchases--but this is such a great product I had to write one. This compares to the Yeti in so many ways, and yet less than 1/3 of the price. It even surpasses the Yeti in that it is lighter which is a huge plus. It is really well done and keeps everything cold for at least 2 or 3 days. I haven't used it for more days than that but I wouldn't be surprised. Thanks for the other reviews--that is what convinced me to try it.

I have two hard “super coolers.” They are great for throwing in the back of a car if cooler is going to stay there. They’re way too heavy for picnicking, boating, etc. And another lesson: Most high end coolers are WAY overbuilt for one typically uses a cooler. Love the lightweight construction and quality insulation of AO coolers. Downsides is that soft coolers are harder to clean and zipper on AO coolers, though I haven't had one fail, are seemingly bit of fantastic quality. But AO coolers definitely provide good value for their cost.

Love this cooler. I’m a flight attendant and use it as my food bag on every one of my trips. It flies with me 6 days a week every week. I take care of it and even clean it inside and out almost daily, but it is holding up fantastically. I’ve used it in one year more than most would use it in a lifetime.It’s perfect for filling up with your food containers and things like that, but I’ve also filled it with beer and ice without bags just as you could in a hard-sided cooler. It can do anything. The insulation is very good. Keeps my things cold for a very long time.

While driving a big rig my son and I each bought four of these after hearing how "awesome" they are and how they are warranteed for life. I do see they no longer say warranteed for life but at the time of our purchase they did. Putting ice packs in my son's bags resulted in immediate tears. I just used cubed ice and mine suffered no tears but after a few uses the zipper on one of mine broke. I called A/O about the "lifetime" warranty and was told that "Yes, they are warranteed, but after the first year you must pay for shipping and ad $15.00 for the cost of the repair. So it is warranteed, but you pay for the repair!!????

Love this cooler. I bought the 48 can carbon series and it works great holds tons of ice and holds it for a long time. People that complain are probably putting warm cans in the cooler with not enough ice and are complaining it melts too fast. Common sense keep it in the shade and chill your cans first if possible. It’s great to use where you don’t want a hard cooler that will scratch things. I plan to buy more of these.

This cooler is beyond expectations. We got this for my husband who works outdoors, and he was tired of having warm drinks partway through a hot day, so he decided to give this a try, along with a high end ice pack. When he opens it, steam rises out! No matter how hot it is or how long the day is his drinks are cold, refrigerator cold, all day! This is a remarkable product.

Not pleased. I didn’t use this until after the return window had closed. Silly me for planning my trip in advance. Anyway, the whole point of buying this cooler over other coolers was the durability claims and the leak proof concept. However both of those go out the window if there is a bur on a cans pull tab because it is a will rip the liner and you will have a pool of water in your tent/room as soon as the ice melts.

確かに、よく出来ています。外側の大きさの割に中は小さいです。冷え方はかなり良く持ちます。重さもあり、お気軽という感じではありませんでした。が、いい商品です。

最強のソフトクーラーと呼び声高いAOクーラーですが？ハードクーラーほどではありません。使用前に冷やす、適切な温度管理が必要です。

船釣り時の飲み物用クーラーとして購入。潮を被っても、この生地なら丸々水洗い出来るし軽いです。ただ、流石に38度の真夏の炎天下ではロゴスの強力保冷剤もとけましたが、朝から昼過ぎまではちゃんと冷えていて良い感じでした。

小さめを選んだけど大きいのでよかったかな、大は小を兼ねる。
