SO this is an awesome product. BUT for traveling in an airport? NOPE! I just spent a good 45 minutes with TSA making all sorts of new friends. Seriously they had THE BOMB SQUAD on the phone! Apparently the reflective surface or something.

Just taken delivery of my mirror and it is a good size (just short of A4), seems quite sturdy and as I order the pink, quite cute. Light is quite vibrant so am happy. As other reviewers have mentioned, it is on the heavier side, so would add weight to your case if travelling abroad. Overall very happy with the product

Whoever said that you can’t take this mirror on a plane in my experience is incorrect. TSA did not care at all about this light up mirror. So take it on your trip. One tip is put clear bubble wrap under the cover so the mirror is secure and put it in your personal carry on luggage. I traveled 1400 miles and it never broke.

So I am probably the only male customer reviewing this vanity mirror. But I am a truck driver, and needed some kind of mirror / vanity to use in my truck. I wanted something battery operated with some good lighting and couldn't find anything until I found this one! Works amazing, it's a little smaller than an ipad. Fit's right into the small closet in my truck, lights are more than powerful to do the job. I use it for about 15 minutes in the morning, and about 15 minutes at night. And the battery usually lasts me about 4 days before it needs a charge. There is a little light that comes on when you plug it in, and then goes off when it's fully charged. The hinged lid cover has just enough tension to angle it the way you want and stay put. Although it could use slightly more tension because if you angle it too far, it will start to fall. Awesome buy, comes with a little foam insert (protective packaging) in the middle between the mirror and lid, and I just kept that and put it back that way every time because I heard about the mirror breaking from slamming the magnet into the mirror. Fit's perfectly into my backpack pocket.... No problems at the airport getting through security.....Great mirror, was exactly what I was looking for!

A great mirror with different light settings that work really well. Brought it on my trip and using it frequently. Easy to recharge and store away.
