Not a bad detector for the price! Mostly finding nails and bottle caps, but I’m just a beginner.

I like the simplicity of operation.

My first metal detector and so as a beginner, I feel it is loaded with features well beyond my ability at this point. I'm just beginning to tell the difference between iron tones and the higher "dings" Those have been small brass cartridge cases or aluminum. It is very comfortable to use. Glad to have the pin pointer too. That is a great asset, very convenient when digging. I haven't used the ear muffs much with my hearing aids but they felt a little uncomfortable when I did.Over all I'm extremely pleased with this detector in quality and features. And it's great exercise, beats a treadmill inside four walls.

I bought this for my wife. She has been talking about doing this for a year now. Watching utube videos and stuff. So I pulled the trigger. I bought this one because it sounded like a good one for a beginner but has some extra features. I'm glad I did. She loves it and it only took her a day to get it figured out. If we are in a spot with lots of pull tabs, she just blocks them and we keep moving. Pretty easy to opperate but I do suggest watching some videos about the exact model you buy. This is fun and I might take hers and get her the one that can get total wet. She is already talking about WATER.

Very easy to put together and easy to use. For years we have been looking for our underground metal septic tank caps to no avail. It took us less than 5 minutes to locate them with this Metal Detector!
