Peebol Shewee

I’m not gonna add a picture cos that’s just weird.These are life savers at festivals. When the queue for the portaloo when you wake up is 100 people deep and you’ve a bladder full of warm cider, have a wee in your tent instead, you’ll not regret it.The bag is pretty wide so easy to wee without spillage. It takes on average 2 wees depending on how many boozes you had. The crystals absorb the wee immediately so if you want to reuse it you can pop it discreetly on the floor and not worry about it leaking…and best of all it doesn’t look as gross as my boyfriend’s sports bottle that he pees in to…so I win.

First of all, they were definitely better than a trip to the campsite toilets at 3am!However, they could be improved...I personally would like to see a larger capacity version, as you felt like you couldn't really let go, as it were, as you were worried about spillage, should you go too much.Also the seal on the bags isn't great, and doesn't always seal, and it's difficult to see if it has sealed in a dark tent. You've also got to find somewhere to prop the full bag up against, as the bottom of the bag isn't flat and doesn't stand up. The liquid does turn to jelly as quickly as stated which is good.They are niggles though, faced with leaving a warm tent and walking across a muddy field, or using one of these, the Peebol wins every time!

Bought this product after realising that urinal bottles leak, especially when the caps aren't fitted tightly on.Package arrived after a few days of delay. It consists of a plastic bag containing three plastic packages, each with granules at the bottom to absorb moisture and a cardboard top to keep it open. Used it in conjunction with a Shewee and found it was good for those times when you just can't wait to get to a toilet and don't want to leave a stream of urine everywhere and make a mess. Simply use the Shewee in the usual manner but aim the end of the pipe into the bag. The bag will hold a lot of liquid. This comes a solid mass in the bag when it hits the granules.The beauty of this is that you aren't left with a potentially leaking bottle and it is easy to dispose of in general waste. The bag also retains its shape.

I've taken these camping before and was very impressed - the gel stuff at the bottom is super absorbent and removes all smells. However, they really only work for men or if using a She-wee - it's very difficult for women to aim properly, and is particularly difficult for those with mobility issues (eg pregnant or older folk). A great idea, but not suitable for everyone.

Fab product, i used these for the first time last weekend and so easy to use! I bought a she wee to but didn't need it with these. I will always have these with me when camping from now on and highly reccomend them.
