A handy pack of these popular books all in one bundle.
Loved having these books all in one bundle, it was far easier to buy them like this rather than search separately. As far as the content goes, these are definite page turners written in a fairly competent style.A great gift or a treat to yourself!

Love or Hate Him... The Character You Can't Ignore or Ever Forget
This was a 2014 bundle set. Still editing issues as well as minor plot errors in Freed (same as the original edit). What a fun journey it was though to read them as one continuous story. That's the way I like to read it. Fifty Shades of Grey really needs Darker (2nd book and my favourite) to complete the story and Freed is all icing on the cake.I love the constant action in the book. It picks up in Darker and never stops. It's great to have CPOVs at the end of the trilogy. I think E.L James writes a really interesting story from his point of view. It gives great insight into his character. She has written him so well. There is no way you could confuse Christian Trevelyan Grey with anyone else. He's our Fifty Shades. I have to admit that I see a younger E.L James as our Anastasia Rose Grey ne: Steele. Especially in Freed.I love the relationship glimpses we get between Christian and his mother Grace. They ring so true ad endearing. His mothers struggle to show love and protection to the untouchable boy, powerfully moving. No, it's not the best written piece of literature out there. It was never meant to be.Yes, it's the most passion inducing, reaction creating, character driven book in our recent history. Even if you don't like it and its not the book for you, you just can't forget 50 Shades.Any author that can stir you like that without laving you wounded from the narrative is a genius in my book. What more do you want than the pleasure of turning the page, sharing a story, arguing of the action?I say, well done Miss James. Well done Icy. Well done author girl. And thank you for writing.SQIt's been a journey, this story. I'd recommend a reread before the move release in February 2015.SQ

Love this series
I love the 50 shades series but only had it in paperback form which is getting a little tatty now as I have read it so many times. Now I can read it as much as I want and it’s not going to get ruined .

A male reader's perspective
First off, this isn't a trilogy in the sense of three separate but connected works; it's a long story that's been chopped up, rather arbitrarily. So if you're going to read it, you'll need all three books.Although it's being touted as a woman's book, full of relationship difficulties and "What did he mean when he said X?" (He's a man, so he means X!), it also features a helicopter, a private jet, guns, blackmail, kidnapping, boats, jet skis and a car chase. I hope I'm not giving away the plot. So there's plenty to keep us males happy, including, of course, the purple sex passages that have made the book infamous.Actually I found the sex descriptions repetitive, tame, unimaginative and oddly prudish at times. The dominant / submissive aspects aren't very extreme, mostly a bit of bottom spanking on his part and "Oh my!" on hers. "His eyes darkened, his breath was ragged ... my inner goddess was doing the tango ... I exploded around him." Okay the first time, but the fifth time you read it, it's become tedious. It gets to the point where you think, "Oh no, they're at it again, I'd better skip the next three pages."The author's husband is a screenwriter, and this shows in the construction of the book, which I'm sure he had a hand in. It's typical "character arc" stuff: the characters start off in one place, develop, and end up in another, their changes brought about by confrontation, conflict and reaction to events. This is classic Screenwriting 101. The male and female leads begin far apart but get much closer by the end. So, it's not very different from Pride and Prejudice, except that Jane Austen wasn't into BDSM -- as far as we know. Mr Darcy had £5,000 a year and Mr Grey has around $200,000,000 according to my calculations, so they're both mega-rich eligible bachelors. And the heroines aren't gold-diggers, oh no, they love them in spite of their money, not because of it.Ana and Christian's relationship is mainly based on mutual lust, so I wonder how well it will last. The story has a happy ending, but I feel the door has been left open for a possible sequel. At £8.99 for the trilogy Kindle download, this is good value; it will keep you entertained for hours. Good unchallenging reading matter for your summer hols.

Popular for a reason
Bought these for my wife as she was a big fan of the movies. She thought they were very well written and even better than the movies.

Amazing
The book is so beautifully written that one can't stop reading. There's an urge to continue reading it. You fall in love with the characters.Only issue with the single trilogy book is that page numbers don't go further beyond page 515. The second part has an abrupt ending. Probably three pages are missing in the trilogy book.

Fifty shades
Dopo aver visto i film ero curiosa come erano i libri. Consiglio l'acquisto e se riuscite in inglese ancora meglio.
