Great replacement for my Bella Foret N142
I've got a Bella Foret N142 03 that my son recently snapped the handle off of. It turned out the stem of the Faucet Cartridge had snapped. I was looking at either buying a new faucet and getting it installed ($350+) or having a plumber fix my existing faucet ($150). So, I got this part, and looked for instructions on how to install. I didn't find any, but figured it out. Before you start, make sure you turn off the water under the sink. Turn it on again after you're done. The cartridge is held in place by a collar that screws down around the top of it. It has an odd looking brass ring with four notches inside, I hunted for a tool that fit. Not needed! The collar is attached to the outside casing, so you can turn the top part of the outside casing directly to loosen (counter-clockwise, the normal 'loosen' direction). I pulled off the collar, then the old cartridge pulled right out. I wiped out the water & a little grit, snapped this replacement in, screwed the collar back on, and re-attached the handle. The new cartridge works better than my older one did, it's less noisy and water flow turbulence. Maybe the old one had mineral build up, I don't know.Extremely happy with the cartridge and how easy it was to install, once I figured it out.

Perfect fit and operation - better than new for my Danze D457158 (now called "The Parma")
Perfect replacement for my D457158 Danze faucet from 2009. The newer Danze faucet that replaces the D457158 is called "The Parma". Be sure to check that the original 3 O-rings came out with old cartridge when you replace the unit. Mine got stuck inside the faucet and they have to come out or the new cartridge won't fit properly because you'll have two sets of O-rings. They look exactly like miniature red Mickey Mouse ears - all 3 O-rings are connected. The old part number for this cartridge was A507348N.This valve works with far less effort than the original which was worn out and leaking. The set screw holding the handle in place on the valve requires a 2.5MM hex (Allen) wrench - took me a bit to figure that out. There is a small rubber plug in the bottom of the handle that must be removed to access the handle set screw.I cleaned all the parts in CLR and reassembled the locking ring and the outer trim ring with copper based never-seize compound to make removal down the road easier and put plumbers grease on the nylon knob on the cartridge - it was hard to pull apart after 8 years. Also, the locking ring required a pair of Channel lock pliers and you have to be careful not to mess up the threads on the adjusting/lock ring because the decorative trim ring threads on the outside of the adjusting/lock ring. Hope that helps. Tretiak
