Look impressive
Just received these. They are very sturdy, not flimsy like some others. I can bake an apple pie in these, they are so strong. They look very professional as well.

Bit small for "9 inch" pan
Firm/strong enough to be a good working pan. Cheap enough to leave behind with the host and a couple slices. Most useful when responsible for Thanksgiving pies but also first of the family to head home.

Perfect for take along pies
I loved the convenience of having sturdy pie plates that you could bring along to hosts and not worry about your plate being lost. You could easily use them again at home but you can also throw them away if necessary. Best pie plates I have tried .

Good pie tin
Good quality and sturdy pie tin. The metal its made out of is thick and has a non-stick surface. The seller also included a few extra tins in case any were damage in shipping.

These are not really deep pans
While these foil pans are really sturdy and can even be reused, they are not deep pie pans. I bought them to make and freeze quiche in. My standard recipe made too much quiche mixture for this pan. However, the mixture cooked as well as in my metal and ceramic pie pans. They are recommended as long as the cook realizes that what ever mixture is put into these pans may be too much.

Love them!
I like to bake pies for other people and found a tip a while ago that ensures a crispy bottom crust: while the oven is preheating, place a sheet pan on the rack. After refrigerating your pie for about 30 minutes, place it on the screaming hot sheet pan which will ensure that the bottom crust will never get soggy. This is why I love using these pans....I am afraid of using this method with glass pie plates AND anything ceramic may not heat up fast enough to crisp up the bottom crust.Using the heavy aluminum pans results in perfect crust every time. PLUS, you can leave the leftovers with the pan as it is disposable. To buy these in the grocery store can really add up in price, so this is a great "bang for the buck".They are every bit as sturdy as the ones I bought at the grocery store. I highly recommend them!

Very sturdy. Doesn’t look disposable
I bake pies as a side business for friends. These pans don’t look disposable and some have returned as if they are to be reused. I have washed and reused several times and they hold up great.
