WizKidsDungeons & Dragons Nolzur's Marvelous Miniatures: Paint Night Kit #7 - Chimera

Now this paint kit was awesome! It took about 4-5 hours to complete while following the guide provided (note that the guide uses a dry brush for a couple steps, which is not included). Half of the paints provided were a little dry but with a little water on a pallet they come back to life and look amazing! The paint kit comes with a large mini which usually goes for around $15 USD on its own so this is a great deal! I would highly recommend this for those looking to level up their painting skills by practicing painting 3 very different types of animals in one, or those looking for a good travel kit to hobby away from the station. 4.8/5 would buy again!

This was a fun project and the Youtube follow along was enjoyable.

If you new to minis, still working on a good paint collection, do. It pass on this one. It's a classic enemy with a great design. I've been wanting to try Vallejo paints for a while and didn't even realize when I ordered this that it came with all it own paints and indeed I they were Vallejo...I may like them more than citidal. They are useful colors with tons left over.I ended up trying the recommend guide and, well you can see the results, though I did do a base coat of black maybe added one or two small changes. But they didn't make a big difference. This is a great kit.If you know you want to paint something don't bother looking further, it's all upside.

Usually the paint night kits come with a smaller figure. Something that really only feels worth about $10. However, in this kit you get a very large miniature giving you great bang for your buck. The Chimera miniature is about roughly the size of a young dragon. Making it a wonderful centerpiece for your collection. As always it comes with a multitude of paints that you can use to paint the miniature and continue to use on others. Highly recommend this one.

The paints are good quality in this! The miniature is also very sturdy, and it was packaged well. The paint goes down smoothly,I personally named the heads Paul,Carl and Margaret,Because they just give off those vibes. And the paint brushes work well,too! I lost the water thing for the paint brushes though, but I can still use an out of service cup for it. ((my sister's review))

Bought this for my younger sister and what I immediately learned is that this is NOT for the young ones with a— lack of fine motor skills lol, it does however come with lots of great colors and I really appreciate that all the needed materials come with it. Great overall value!

La verdad la figura es buena y el pincel es bueno. Contiene las pinturas para terminarla pero algunas vienen secas. El producto viene mal empaquetado. La caja venia toda rota. Por eso las 3 estrellas. El producto es bueno pero si lo puedes conseguir en alguna tienda donde veas que este en buenas condiciones. Otra cosa es el tutorial el cual es confuso y en el tutorial la figura es ligeramente diferente. Imagino que esto es para que el que lo pinta le sea más facil.
