You would need a laptop stand
Bought this for 70K. Solid performance. The performance might be throttled because of heating. If you have a laptop stand, then you can get big jump in performance. It is light weight for a gaming laptop. Love it

Great laptop
Got it for 96k. Would definitely recommend it for design work as the screen is color accurate. Works like a charm. If you can get at this price than nothing like it. Only thing which might have been included is a qhd screen.

Solid specs in a minimalist package
Understandable why one might go for the helios 300 considering the price, but this one has a Ryzen 7 5800H which is much better compared to the Intel on the helios especially for multi threaded applications and has better thermals. What I don't understand why people are yelling at HP about the price, once you factor in the high sales tax (18% -22%) in this country, don't be surprised if its priced over 1.30K, the Omen 15 with a Ryzen 7 5800H, RTX 3060 and 512GB SSD is sold in the US for 1399 (1.3K) and once you factor in the tax here it goes over 1.22K for the same, but the model listed here has a 1TB SSD so expect a high price. So blame the ones responsible for the high tax and not the brand, even if they did assemble here its still 18% in taxes, which is way too much for an emerging market.

This machine is a beast.
It's a powerful performance machine that will run Windows smoothly for many years. But the huge power draw is the sacrifice you are making for this kind of machine. The battery life is poor as a result. Coming from ultrabooks and macs, this was surprising for me. But as my first gaming laptop, I am super happy with it! It works and eats like a beast!!

Review after One Year of Using
You cannot game without putting the fan at Max Speed, playing Overwatch 2 makes the GPU go 75-85 degrees and CPU 101 degreesI got thermal repaste, still same temperatureI got fans cleaned still no improvementI got fans replaced, still 100+Now finally I had to get my entire motherboard replaced, now it stays at 97 degrees under loadI don't want my laptop to burn out so fast at these temperature, so I disabled turbo boost by setting Max processor state to 99% instead of 100%Now CPU stays in 75-85 rangeBut that's still very bad temperatures as my friends play games with 55-70 degrees at 60-100% loadFaced many problems with Windows 11 too, got few bsod, thermal throttling is very common if you don't disable turbo boostOverall I had called the service guy like 10+ times in a period of 1 year, but now my warranty is exhausted... Idk how much money it'll cost me to keep calling the service guy every now and then ....Overall the design and build is pretty good, there's 2 fans at the bottom, it will give 5-10 degrees higher temp if you keep it on a flat surface than elevated oneThose 2 fans are for intake btw, there's a small outlet for air on one side and a bigger outlet at back which hardly throws any air ....Overall, not recommended if you will play games for longer session and don't want to spend 1 lakh + just for a laptop to die out soonFor coding and other task this laptop is decent, it's smooth and the screen is pretty good, the keyboard is sleek too, I like the design a lotIt's very clean and solidIn short :Insane Heating issuesVery good build qualityVery sleek screenGood build materialVery comfortable KeyboardCannot play games without a elevated surface since air inlet is at the bottom ๐Good for regular use and coding/developmentBattery life is pretty good as compared to other gaming laptops, I can go 2hrs while gaming, 4-6hrs while browsing or casual coding, if I set brightness low, refresh rate 60hz and fans off then I can get 8+ hrsTho it lacks a MUX switch still battery life is pretty goodHeating is the only issue with this laptop, performance wise it is good too if heating doesn't bother you
