Ollie the Octopus: and His Magnificent Brain

Poorly Written
Bought this to read this poorly executed narrative to my son's class. So glad I bought it used. Waste of money. Poor judgement on Melillo's part to endorse this without insisting on quality editing. If you want to teach kids about primitive reflexes, read Melillo's or others' quality content out there and make it fun, this book hasn't made it outside the house.

Fire the editor!
I’m very disappointed in this book. It was a wasted opportunity to really help people understand retained primitive reflexes. It’s so poorly written that it’s hard to tell who the book was written for. If you’re a parent, check out “reconnected kids” or “disconnected kids” instead of this book. Dr Melillo and Dr Crawford are fantastic at what they do but this book doesn’t represent them well.

Primitive Reflexes - the missing link
A beautifully crafted book to share stories about children with challenges - challenges that have links to retained reflexes. Clear explanations about how the brain works and why problems sometimes arise. And most importantly how children can overcome these challenges, both with help and by themselves, to be more confident and happier.

A beautiful story about Primitive Reflexes
Lovely book written by two experts of Brain Development . A visual way to explain to kids what primitive reflexes are and that by doing these exercises we help our brain to perform better.

Amazing!! A must buy.
For every parent who have wonderful children but need that extra help, then this book is for you and your children to read.
