Scalpel Handle # 7, Premium Quality, Rust Proof Stainless Steel Scalpel Knife Handle, Lightweight and Durable, Fits Surgical Blades No. 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15

I wanted an upgrade for my current scalpel handle, so I bought a #3, expecting a nice polished finish. This is how it's depicted in the image, and described in the description. At $12 it's one of the more expensive handles on amazon, so I was expecting quality.Turns out that is has a cheap timesaved finish, and turned out to be exactly the same as the handle I was trying to upgrade from, which I bought for less than half the price.

Good quality and blades fit nice and secure. Good control even with my large hands.

Not as well constructed as I hoped for. Not sure how the handle will clean.

I received my scalpel handle and my #10 blades would not lock in the handle properly so I had to modify the slot and the bottom stop so the blades would seat properly. I used a needle file and a small trisided file to accomplish this . Otherwise it was fine for the price.

But it does hold so I guess I got what I paid for!

I didn't realize it didn't have a ruler on it

The recommended handle/blade combo doesn’t properly work. The blades snap on an wiggle a lot, it’s no good.
