For their price, they are good value.
While not the strongest or heaviest of clamps, (they are pressed from a soft copper alloy plate), they do however, clamp & conduct electricity well.These also come with soft plastic insulated & colour coded covers which are predrilled to allow a small nut & bolt or screw to be used to connect your cables (Or indeed soldering, as in my case.).It would have been nice had screws/nuts been included, but I prefer to solder anyway and bearing in mind their price, I can't really complain.Note: Don't forget to slide the plastic covers over the cables before you connect them up!

Not for jump leads but ok for charger leads
Great strong spring clips but made of very thin copper so would melt if used on jump leads!I ordered them to replace the old ones on my CTek 5A charger and they are great for that purpose. I gave them 4 stars because of my use. I crimped and soldered my leads but needed to use a large soldering iron tip and use a high temperature. Obviously the copper takes away the heat quickly!800/900A on a starter would destroy these!DO NOT USE ON JUMP LEADS!Had I bought for jump leads they would have got 1 star and been retuned.

This boy does the job
Does the job and for the £££'s great value. Fitted to 16amp battery charger used aluminium 4mm pop rivets with washer backing. the plastic clamp did not split and a parfect job.

Good Price but they need modifying to use.
These crocodile clips are made from quite thin copper / copper coated metal, they have a strong spring and if you remove the outer rubber / plastic sleeve the end of the clip is serrated to hold the outer sheath of the cable. There is no means of securing the inner copper cable core. To use these clips I will have to drill a hole through one end and secure a cable eyelet with a bolt or screw.
