I'm 5'3" 145 lbs and 12 is perfect fit! I'm 77 and need modest dress for granddaughter's wedding. Not easy to find modest formal wear that's not a sack but this is it. Sleeves are a pretty length, not too much cleavage, not too snug around waist, good length and comfortable overall, not too heavy or restricting. You won't regret choosing this one. I'll add puc later.Update: loved this dress so much I convinced myself I could lose a few pounds before the wedding and that spanx would help. The weight didn't budge and the spanx was uncomfortable. I've always been smaller 6 or 8, so I thought a 12 would work with my current weight. I read reviews to decide size, so I wanted to update this. It's really snug fitting in the torso. Although I've never worn bigger than 12 in anything, this 12 was too tight. Size up. It's beautiful.

This dress was purchased to be worn by the mother of the groom. She wears a 12 but the 14 fit perfectly. I appreciate the reviews suggesting a size up! The dress looks more expensive than it is. She's 5'3" so we had to get it altered due to the length.

I purchased this dress for my daughter’s wedding which is a beautiful dress! You should know it runs small, especially under the arms. The first time I bought a size 6 dress (which is normally the size I wear with the correct measurements). It ran so small that I purchased the same dress again in a size 10 and it was still somewhat tight under my arms with the correct measurements. I love my dress, just know it runs small and I would purchase a larger size than normal and you can always have a third party alter it if needed.

Well made. The only reason I’m returning it is it’s rather summery feeling and the wedding that I am attending is in November. I would’ve had the size up if I had kept it. I’m 5’3” and 150 pounds. I think on someone taller it would’ve looked better also.. But other than that, the dress is beautiful.

I am 5”4” and 120lbs. The size 6 fit perfectly. Bought to wear to my son’s wedding. Lightweight and perfect dress for summer with enough sparkle for the evening. The tulle is fragile but I consider this a dress I’ll only wear once , so very happy with the price

As many reviews indicated, I first ordered this dress 2 sizes larger (12) than my normal size, It was too large, but no problem for the return - the company was awesome. Then I went down 1 size (10) and it was perfect! Their guide seemed to be right on. It's too long, so I will need to have it hemmed, but that will be all - I'm 5'1, 121 lbs. Looking forward to wearing it for my son's wedding!

This dress was beautiful but it was too tight across the chest to be comfortable.
