Doesn't really work, and not large enough for my lab.
This product is okay at best. My 2 year old lab picked up the idea of "touching" it quickly, but the sensor is either not sensitive enough or malfunctioning. The ringer is NOT a button you can click or push, but rather a sensor that you have to touch or swipe. He can touch it and the ringer will only work Maine 2 times out of 10. He gets frustrated and gives up because he touches it 3 or 4 times in a row with no sound. The ringer is also small, smaller than the size of your palm. It was difficult for him to learn to touch such a small surface.Overall, I like the idea but it is not executed well. The ringers need to be more sensitive, and larger for larger breed dogs.

Rings by itself
My dog learned pretty quickly to touch the button / ring the bell to go out, and took a lot longer to do the same to come in. The bell can get annoying though - both because my dog is very insistent when he wants to go out and because the bell frequently and repeatedly rings by itself. This self-ringing happens in the mornings and at night - my guess is that it has something to do with the dew point / humidity changes.

Hard to trigger
The media could not be loaded. Dogs palm must make contact with center. It dips in. The dogs naturally wants to scratch at it which does not work. Only skin contact from dogs palm will trigger it. This has been fun and took couple weeks to train my dog but think he is getting the hang although most of the time I see it hear him scratching at it and it won't trigger.

Like the product.
Like the product but it came with the wrong instructions. To install new batteries you have to remove touch pad from wall, or where ever you decided to put it. Using velcro instead of the double sized tape will make the process much easier and save damaging your wall.

My smart pup never got the concept.
I though this would be perfect for us. We live in a reverse living house where our main living area is upstairs and we need to go down a flight to go out to take the dog for a bathroom break. We could not hear the other option of door knob hanging bells because the door was so far away. Well, the concept is great and we kept trying to teach her to touch the bell, but she was so scared of it. Even with weeks of using treats, coaxing and praise, she never got it. When she did try to use her nose and paw, often the doorbell would not ring! I would then immediately use my finger and it would ring! I thought at first it was not sensitive enough. But now, after a couple of months of the bells just sitting near the door unused and ignored, the doorbell will occassionally ring on its own!!! Too late to return.
