Great book, off-putting package
The book itself is very helpful. For some reasons it’s so heavily scented with this cheap air freshener smell. Unfortunately I am allergic to a lot of fragrances and immediately went into a sneezing fit. Had to air out the book by the window. It’s been two days and I can still smell it.

The book is upside down
The media could not be loaded. Not very cool UX of the book - Upside down pages.

Dull, boring and long
Too dull, too boring and too long with handful of useful one-lines hidden all over the place. Such a waste of time.

Worst seller ever. Wrong product description
The product description says that it’s a paperback book. I have ordered a paperback book and when I received it, I have received a hardback book. I personally don’t prefer hardback because it’s inconvenient to read, so I have contacted support for a replacement. Support has issued a replacement with my complaint notes, and next day I received another hardback book. Are you serious? Did you even care to read what the issue for the replacement was? I had to put effort to return one of the books and the total support result was zero. I still have a hardback book. At this point I don’t even know whether I will enjoy reading this book after such horrible experience.

Absolute must read! Great improved 3rd edition!
Lean UX is an absolute must read, not only for UX designers, but this book is also super relevant for roles like Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Product managers etc. There are some few sections about agile/scrum basics which might be more relevant for less experienced and some deep dive sections on UX design, but Jeff really brings it to the point when it comes to focusing organisations and teams on outcomes rather than output. What I liked most of the 3rd edition (after having read the 2nd just a few months ago) is the introduction of the Lean UX canvas. It is a brilliant tool to guide the teams and their stakeholders through the whole process, creates alignment and increases transparency.
