Great lights. Works as stated. The size, style and functionally are perfect for me.

I would not buy this product from this vendor. After the warranty return window expired the bulb socket shorted out. The device goes on and off at will all evening. I have done extensive testing to see if it is wiring including swapping with the one on the other side of garage. The device has a bad socket. Looks like these are refurbished but not quality checked. It most likely was not working from the original purchase. However, I installed and set up in daytime and only checked if working on first night. Neighbor told me it was going on and off and has for awhile.

Construction is surprisingly light weight--I had expected something more substantial with thicker metal and glass. On the plus side, there appeared to be no flaws in the manufacturing process. There is a problem in the design in that a sensitivity adjustment is located inside the housing that mounts against the wall and requires sealing against the elements. Functionally, the two coupled units are working well and are attractive in appearance..

The lantern looks elegant at my backyard. I love the dawn-to-dusk feature and it works well. It also has the dimming feature. I had to experiment with different bulbs to find one that dims and brightens well to my liking. If I have to replace other lanterns in my house, I would probably buy this again.

Our association installed these on all of our townhomes a few years again. We used a total of about 56, using from one to three lamps depending on the unit. They are very nice-looking and have held up well. Very easy to install. The Dualbrite feature to hold the light at a lower voltage and then brighten up when it detects motion isn’t a selling point for me. The difference in brightness isn’t that significant. I do like the dusk-to-dawn selection but then, it’s all great until it stops working. Once the electronic control module fails, you have to replace the whole unit (wasteful) or do like I did; drill out the control module and just hardwire the lamp as a normal on/off device. You can buy self-contained dusk-to-dawn lightbulbs now that work just great or install a controller inline.

I would buy more if I had more places to mount them.

I have 3 of these and I had enormous difficulty getting them to work - it ended up being the LED bulbs I used. I tried two varieties of GE bulbs, EcoSmart, and one other brand (I forget which) and the lights either would not come on at all or they flickered like crazy when they did. Each bulb that didn't work in these lamps subsequently all worked perfectly in any other fixture I tried inside my house. I managed to find an older style LED bulb from GE that did work inside this lamp. There is something about the electronics inside this lamp that makes most LED bulbs either not work or go nuts. Beware! Incandescent bulbs all worked fine.

Replaced a 3 year old like unit all three now work together. Great dependable unit
