I was looking for something to hold the clothes I wear almost everyday, my scrubs. That and some other things to make more room in my closets. Opening and closing my closet doors so frequently was just annoying.What I wanted;something sturdy, not too expensive, size and looks.The assembly was pretty simple but you really do need the pdf, what comes with it isn't very useful. I assembled it by myself but would strongly recommend another person if possible.This is sturdier than the cheaper "wood" shelf type units (which I will never buy again)At $176 my opinion is that it's a fair price, I would say great but fair. It's a good size for what I wanted it for and what I'll be using it for.Generally speaking it is an attractive piece with one caveat. Even though it is very well packaged some of the metal parts were scratched and you could see the silvery aluminium under the black coating. Unfortunately there is no touch up pen included which would have been really nice. The bolts and parts are in a zip lock bag which is awesome. There's nothing more frustrating than trying to get the parts out of the plastic clam shell type packaging. If you've ever been cut by one you'll know what I'm talking about.Bottom line is it did meet my expectations and if they ever go on sale I may purchase another. Heck if they ever get around $100 I'd buy 4 and give 3 as gifts.this design in my opinion is superior to the "wood" or wire shelving units that will probably come up on your searches.

It was easy to assemble by myself and it fit just perfectly into the closet. It is sturdy and looks great.

Put this together by myself, didn't take much time. Its very sturdy... so sturdy I'm able to stand on the first shelf to reach the top shelf if I need to LOL.... I'm little 5'3 122 lbs. Probably not a good idea to stand on it, but just goes to show its a pretty sturdy piece! Love it. Put my shoes on the shelves and hung my clothes on the rod. I also have a bunch of stuff on the top shelf! Perfect for my needs. Sturdy and looks really nice!

Very easy to put together. Extra screws included. Sturdy. I used for a plant stand in my windows. Added glow lights.

Stand is attractive, sturdy, and spacious. Placed stand in my walk-in closet. Assembly was fine however the instructions wasn't the best and lacked details. This stand is multi purpose and can be used for a variety of things.
