Do the socks have a SPF rating?

Since these are liners, intended to wick moisture away from your skin into wool (or other material) hiking socks and not to be worn by themselves, I suspect that no consideration was given for an SPF rating. I normally don't check for SPF rating on my hiking socks because 95% of my hiking is done in terrain that requires a full 8 inch boot for ankle support on steep side hills. If I am wearing shorts, I use a good sunscreen on my legs above the boot. If I am wearing hiking pants, I usually buy pants with a high SPF rating. If you plan on wearing these socks without a covering heavy sock, I would suggest that you use sunscreen on your feet before putting the socks on.
