Team Catfish Secret 7 Catfishing Dip Bait pint

Secret seven is great. It stays on your dip worm for along time, its easy to apply, always smells, And really catches fish. I also found with this bait the fish swallow it as far as they can get it. I caught 15 channel cat using this product for the first time and i could only get out a couple hooks because they ate them all the way. I would not waste my time buying this small of a jar it works by the half gallon and save some money. Also if you live near a bass pro shop you should check in there. Our bass pro sells it for i think 8 bucks and you dont have to wait for it to ship and you save a little money.

My first impression from the smell of secret 7 when I opened it was this is some potent stuff and sure to catch some catfish. I took it out that weekend to do some night catfishing from the bank on one of my favorite spots and quickly became frustrated. I was using soft bait treble hooks (the ones with the spring in the middle) and I still could hardly get it to retain the bait on cast. The bait had a thinner consistency than creamy peanut butter. After that frustration I switched to some large regular hooks and thought I'll tie it on with some panty hose it can't go anywhere then. It was time consuming but it seemed to do the job only problem was I still wasn't getting any bites. Mean while my friend 15 feet from me was reeling in a couple on chicken liver. After a few attempts at rebaiting and rigging it differently I switched to my friend's chicken liver and started catching some little yellow bullhead which wasn't what I was looking for but it was a great improvement over catching nothing. Overall I'm greatly disappointed with this bait.

So after watching many youtube videos, I have decided to buy the product. I will have to say that I am impressed with the product. I typically go fishing where alot of bites don't happen. However I did receive bites just about every time the product was out in the water. Granted it may be one or two bites, then they would stop and have to check to see if the bait was still on, most of the case I had to re-bait. however the product does work. You do get massive hits, but you have to ready to set the hook after the first bite. The bait does disappears quickly. I will probably start using the bait in type of bait holder, pushing it into a tear drop bait holder, like a little stinke or something like that.. But I plan on hitting some other lakes around Oklahoma and seeing if I can hook up with larger fish.The ONLY think I would have to say negatively, is the bait needs to say around longer. But don't this review stop you from buying. It's a very good product.I used the same review for the Sudden Impact by the same company. Just changed the words around. but I still have to say the same thing. :)

I'm not a good enough fisherman to attempt going in to great detail. I did have a trip recently where my hook with this stuff was the only catch of the day, and it was a pretty good 2' catfish (didn't weigh it). Almost everything about the trip was far from ideal, but I did land one, and no one else around me did, so I guess it works pretty well?In an attempt to compare catch rates, I was using multiple rods with live worms, live shad, dead shad, fake worms and chicken liver. I don't feel like I did a good job science'ing it though since there was only one catch. Or maybe it is a good comparison and this stuff is that great.

My new tablet of bait came in today. So I went fishing after work. I had some secret 7 left in an older tub. Started catching fish right away. Caught 4 nice Catfish. Then my day went to crap. I ran out of the older bait and opened my new bait. It is so lose. It's not sticky. Won't stay on the tube hook. Most of it falls off before you even get it to the water. I didn't catch anymore fish. I'm not sure why they would change a product so much when the old product worked perfectly.

This stuff came in a sealed container and inside of the Amazon bag and I could still smell it before opening it. Poor mail man. I decided to brave the smell and give it a try. I didnt want to touch the stuff and it was thick so the hook did not get covered. I just kind of rolled it trying to get some to stick on the hook. It seamed like it didnt stay on to long but Im sure that was my own doing. I did not catch any fish with it but I only tried it for a few mins.

This bait is really stinky and works on catfish and turtles really well. I used it this weekend.
