I got this to replace the HOB (hang in back) filter for my edge aquarium, my pros and cons are thisPros:1. Easy to use2. Compact3. Has bio-media for better filtration of bad bacteria.I really like that it’s white, so it’s viewable but not bad on the eyes. This filter gives a good amount of flow, great for fish that like moving water.If you are looking for a good alternative to the old standby filters that come with most tanks, this is the one to try, I’ve been using since January 2021 and I have really liked it.

Packaging and delivery time was perfect.Installation was a bit hard. The water pressure it created was intense, wet up the place with the wave making aspect.Check the filter to see if it was sucking in and it was super clean, that means it not really sucking in anything. food and so would have been stuck in filter.Lil insects that multiple by the seconds in the sand filled up the unit and multiped till the hose blow off and wet up the place again.It stop working and the top with the electrical swell. that was that for me_________________Update 23.08.21Seller contacted me quite quicklyI added one more star for how great the seller wasFully reimburse

Very cool little power head/filter/wave maker/aerator. Did have a lot of the black foam filter bits stuck all over it when unboxed, but a quick rinse fixed that. Impeller was coated in an unidentified oil/grease, but a wipe with a paper towel and a run in hot water in a bucket, then another wipe with a paper towel seemed to remove it. Air inlet in the wave nozzle is great. Uses a Venturi so you don't need an air pump attached. Once installed the fish went nuts. Large lazy Oscar and several surviving Black Salty feeders were immediately rushing into the bubbly current and out again. Most action I see out of the Oscar except on "New Feeder Day". Even my Pleco's have been enjoying it. Installed in a 55gal tank and works very well. Would recommend.

Not pleased. I lost 4 designer guppy fish to this filter. The power head is too strong and didn't do a thing for the water quality. 120$ worth of fish dead or gravely injured. But they were more then willing to work with me and ship me or new one... Unfortunately it won't work for my needa so I chose a refund. Shipper was very polite and patient with me and made sure my needs were met

this filter is just what I was needing. Powerful quiet. It moves the water more than my old filter. Love the multi options on for how the water comes out. Would buy again in a heartbeat. Many reviews state about the filter media. I am very picky about what I put into my tanks and I love that I can add my own media to the sections as I see fit depending on the need.
