Jealous from my eBike!
After getting a SWFT Fleet ebike, I wanted my Fiancé to join me on the electric riding fun. The pink color and style of the Beetle made that a quick sale. It's a slick little package that feels well thought out. From "duh" implements like showing battery percent on the screen during charge, which my ebike doesn't. To functions, like the brake light and cruise button - I've gotten wrist pain from maintaining full throttle on my ebike over a long period, so I'm glad to see this. To a little touch like the back of the seat having finger grooves for comfort when lifting up.I especially love the feature where it doesn't have to be rolling for the throttle to work. Rental escooters and my ebike have required riders to start the motion, but the way the Beetle can take you from a stop really sells the emoped feel.Assembly was dead simple, especially compared to my ebike. No fussing with brakes or wires? No problems. The ride is good, seat comfy. Our rust belt roads aren't great and while I'd certainly say you avoid every pothole you can on a $500+ scooter, it can be ok with smaller ones. It can be difficult to dodge rough spots in the road with only the illumination of the Beetle's headlight. Hasn't stopped me yet.Another ride item is one-handed operation feels unstable, coming from a bike. I find myself listing - countering the downward force on the handle I'm using by leaning the scooter to the other side. This in combination with the bucking motion a sizeable hump in the road can provide... might get a more spirited rider in trouble. At the end of the day, I think these are just owed to the scooter characteristics of the Beetle. The last and least complaint I have is the key - tapping the key to unlock only works when a specific side of the key is pressed to the screen, and the keychain loop is off to that side rather than in the middle. You can kind of see this in the Amazon photo that includes the key (in this photo, the side of the key that's up with the NFC logo, is actually the part you need to press face down against the screen). It makes me nervous to use the key with a keychain, because it's difficult to press the key to unlock without the metal keychain also touching the screen. Haven't scratched the screen yet, and you can just press the unlock button or use your phone, but it's just... they got so much so right, and did this.I do love the cheery little chime it throws out when the key is used, though. While it really is just an escooter with seat and some plastic cladding, the array of features feels like the plucky, easily stored and maneuvered Beetle saying "I am a road vehicle." If I'm running up to the corner store alone, I grab this before I grab my faster ebike. It's a comfortable blast.

Great for commutes and hiking
I use to drive to commute before I got a new position recently. Now, my office charges a high amount of parking fee and this scooter is the alternative commuter I found.Because my new office is close to 20 miles away from where I live, range became my primary concern. There were few options available that goes up to this range, and even if the scooter claim it can go for more than 20 miles, I’m worried that the real distance could be much less than it claims. This one definitely works well with my commute route. Although what could be better is if the seller could provide two sets of charger, so that I don’t need to carry the charger to my office for the scooter to charge up when I’m working. It’s not a big deal because I’m just going to office 2-3 days a week now. It could help more once the pandemic ends. It’s quite visible to drivers and pedestrians at dusk when I tends to ride back home, so that’s another thing I liked.I did not intend to use it in my leisure, but I actually found that this scooter fits into the trunk of my Corolla. That’s when I brought along when I visited a state park last weekend. That decision helped me greatly as I found that the parking lot is filled up, and had I not brought it with me, there will be quite some hiking between where I park and the entrance to the state park.Overall, it is a good scooter in all aspect that you would expect. I particularly like the fact that it does run a long distance with every charge, and it gets fully charged when I sleep or work.

No customer service not even Amazon or the supplier care once you purchase
I initially liked the scooter when I bought it in July I used it minimally I was able to load it myself I’m a 67-year-old woman is it only for mobility when traveling I have rode it 25 times or less when I put it away in my heated basement in October for the winter. When all I got it out in April to begin using it again, I drove it a short distance, put it in my vehicle to travel, and when I arrived, it would not work the battery was dead, and would not recharge so upon reading in Google search, because there are no directions sent with the scooter, I realize that I should have possibly charged at a time or two during the winter so I spent $250 on a new battery but still have encountered the same problem. I charge it but it will not stay running and I get a code NFC, which I’m assuming is not fully charged , all I hear is 30 days warranty. They remind the batteries you’re supposed to at least last three years I didn’t get six months of use out of it and I have requested a callback from the company which has a message it was left from the first of the year on their answering machine and Amazon wash their hands of the problem, saying it’s not them. Somebody needs to have some customer service and some respect for people. I’m not a child who threw this thing around and didn’t care for It , I spent a lot of money for a little pile of junk. Thank you for nothing all of you who had a part in selling this.
