I have used these filters for years and they've always worked fine. The only "con" is the price keeps rising and GE no longer sells these filters.

When the water from the tank doesn’t run it can be tank low pressure or filters clogged.You disconnect the tank .if there is no water coming replace the filters by the 3 cleaning filters replacement.If the water comes you need to replace the filters.And they are very easy to replace

I highly recommend getting a scrap wrench because otherwise they seem to pop out I'm not a weak man but even putting them in they seem to unscrew on their own as soon as the water pressure is turned on. I do recommend turning off the water while you're doing this. Using a strap wrench I was able to tighten them to hold in place .you shouldn't need to do that.

Its much cheaper than buying bottled water! This is my 4th order for these filters. Only once did it stop working after several months, but I've been getting 6 months. Though in Colorado we have very good quality water, I still use these. Makes great coffee too. This is the best price, I checked several other sites. Some vendors are always out and they are always available from Amazon. I've had my counter top purifier for over 10 years and it works.

When the filters work, they're great! However, we seem to have about a thirty percent failure rate with these items. When the system has poor flow performance, it tends to be due to these. Usually it happens when they are at the end of their lifespan; which is to be expected. Unfortunately, about one in three of these purchases are defective right out of the box and produce little more than a trickle after proper installation and system cleaning.

These filters are expensive. And as a user, I can't tell how well they are working because that's how a filter works. We really don't have much flavor in our water without a filter. I use these because we have well water and one can't be sure in this day and age on the quality of one's water. And these are a lot cheaper and more earth friendly than bottled water. But they still seem expensive and one just can't really tell how well they work.

I've had a GE water filter system for a long time and find it simple and effective. I check the filters to make sure it has the tamper proof seal, takes 2 min to replace. I think these are 6 month filters but I check the water to confirm before I replace them. The price makes it a 4 star.

Pricing was good and delivery was quick.

We have found our GE system, over the past 12 years, to be a great way to make our local water tasty. It was wonderful to be able to obtain this filter through Amazon, as our local Home Depot could not seem to stock it, and charged a lot more than Amazon for it.
