Board games are Best!
I gave this to my grandchildren for Valentine's Day and they liked it so very much. Checkers is for the younger children and chess is for the older siblings. My grandchildren really enjoy board games and puzzles.

VERY well made!
Pleasantly surprised that it was this nice looking and well made. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the checkers won’t stay in the foam so I have to be very careful when opening and closing it. That’s a little frustrating, but overall it’s a great purchase!

Not Designed for best use.
Box Looks great, however, if you want to play only checkers, then chess piesces fall out when box is opened and turned over. If there were covers over the pieces, then this would not happen. Checker pieces would then fit better laying on sides rather than standing up.

Would have been A+ if the top didn't have a huge scratch through the wood, a deep line
had scratches and deep cuts all over the top of it. had to return.
