Sometimes the flow of the instructions was hard to follow but it shouldn’t be a problem if you pay a little more attention to the little orange arrows. Also knowing which direction to make your folds (engraved side or non-engraved side) was a little unclear at times.If this is your first one, you can do it… but I might suggest finding an easier one to start with. If you’re experienced in building these kits you’ll enjoy adding this one to your collection

I’ve built a few of these metal contraptions before. It definitely takes time and patience. I broke a piece because I was working to fast with the wrong tools and the instructions could have been a little better in my opinion but it’s was pretty cool

I’ve assembled quite a few of these but this particular kit has poor instructions. Particularly the part of the directions that indicate which way to fold certain areas. You must be intuitive for this build, the instruction illustrations do not do a good job of differentiating what side of the part is which. The image is an example of what I’m referring to. Shades of grey and white overlap with no real 3D effect to break up the folding planes. No arrows to indicate which way the folds are taking place. Most of the time they don’t even indicate when to use the perforated side of a part as the side that will be seen.I’ve built Level 6-7 difficulty that have clearer instructions. This is level 5 so it’s shouldn’t be more difficult that the 6-7 but the lack of good instructions make it so.Please don’t let the review of this particular kit dissuade you from Piececool kits but if this is your first, beware of the instructions a bit.

Let's face it, guys can be hard to buy for. I had 3 teen/young adult guys to buy a gift for and I wanted something unique and entertaining, so I purchased these. I hope they agree with my thinking.

I like and disliked this item. Very small. Have to use magnify glasses and sometimes that was not good enough. Didn't expect it to be that little. The good thing about it is that it is a real big challenge. I am up for the challenge but it is gonna get the best of me. After this I have the dragon to deal with. Will pay attention to what I order next time. Wish me luck.
