Wonderart Mr. Fox Latch Hook Kit, 8" x 8"

This kit includes everything you need. The grid isn’t stamped on you have to follow the instructions. It is my first latch hook kit in many years and I was able to follow the color pattern so I would say it is an easy project to complete.

I really love this little latch hook kit. I bought it for my granddaughter who is 12. It didn't come with a latch hook so I had to give her one of mine. I really thought she would like this but she hasn't even taken it out of the box yet. I bought this kit for her because it is a lot smaller & I felt that she wouldn't get bored working this kit but she doesn't even want to start it. I love it but she doesn't.

Fun for kids if they know how to do this. May be complicated for beginners or younger kids. Looks cool

I take care of some nice folks so when one of my ladies told me she knows how to latch hook I went on Amazon with the idea of getting her a perfect gift. I gave it to her on Christmas and she was so delighted she cried. Did I tell you she likes Butterflies? The only problem now is that she treasures this set so much she doesn't want to mess it up. This means she hasn't even opened the box yet. Looks like I will have to get her another one so she isn't overwhelmed by this one being too precious for her to touch. When she finally makes this I will add pictures.

I bought this for my sister who had a stroke to practice on. To my disappointment the pattern was not stamped onto the canvas. So it will be a lot harder for her to follow, even though the directions and pattern are great on the paper. And the yarn should always come separated, instead of having to dig out each color. We shall see how it goes.

My twins are 11 and this has been a great rainy day activity for them during virtual learning and self-isolation. The quality is decent, the instructions are good, and the kids will have a nice 12 inch piece of art to hang on the wall when they are done (or, turn into a pillow). Good value for the money.

I am very disappointed in this product. When I searched for a latch hook kit on the site, I used "children" in My criteria because I was purchasing it for my 7 year old. The price was right for being her first project, but that meant the tool was not included. I was aware of that and ok with that. I liked that there were only three colors to deal with and the simple design. My problem is with the material (base) that we put the yarn through. It's just white! No pre-printed design! Never have I seen a latch hook like this. I had to spend an hour going through, counting squares and coloring the pattern onto the base for her and it's still a little off! This was s birthday gift, a first time trying this craft and it really disappointed both of us. Unfortunately, this project will most likely never get completed.I suggest adding this information (easily seen) in the product description and take it out of the category for children.

Although this was way too difficult for my 5 yo, I enjoyed doing latch hook again after decades of not doing it. This was very small and quick to finish!
