Good quality, perform as advertised
I used them on my lawn watering valve manifold, so when I have to replace the valves the next time I won't have to cut the PVC pipe again. Glue up easy, seal well. Overall very satisfied.

The brand I needed
Exactly what I needed to replace a cracked pipe at the irrigation backflow. Couldn’t find it anywhere at first, so this saved the day. Worked perfectly!

I used these for plumbing my sump to my aquarium to allow for easy adjustment/removal of pipes and components. Solid quality union with no leaks and easy to screw apart. IMO these are as good a quality as you are going to find for a PVC union joint.

They worked just fine, I used mine on a sprinkler manifold setup so that I could take things apart easier for zone valve replacement. They only require hand tightening and do not leak. They also have a slightly less bulky foot print. A quality product for the cost.

Love it!
Compared to the giant ones from home Depot and the hardware store, this is great! It takes up so much less space and is just more pleasant. As for quality, seems good and I've had no leaks for over a month.

Spear 497 Unions provide a solid Seal with ability to separate as needed.
I used 2 of these unions to allow me to build a small manifold to ease change out a sprinkler valves that tend to freeze up every year, the unions separate easily and hold a solid seal when made up. Great product.

Easy to glue and connect, great for Air Conditioner drain pipe !
Easy to glue and connect, great for Air Conditioner drain pipe ! So I am able to clean the pipes easier. Tried attaching pipes without gluing (so I can remove to clean) but pipes were leaking in the crawl space. These unions solved the problem. Make sure to put one where the drain comes out of the pan straight, so you can get a brush in there.
