A Primer of Ecological Statistics

While I'm satisfied with the book and it's content (I knew what I was ordering), I was completely disappointed by the condition the book was in when it arrived. The product description stated (copied from order details): "Condition: Used - Very Good - Contains 3 letters written on the back of front cover from inside, other than that book remains in mint condition bright, crisp, and tight pages." I can confirm that there are three letters in the inside cover, however the rest of the book did not contain crisp tight papers. Many papers (approximately 75-100 pages) were bent as if a book was shoved into a backpack. With other minor issues such as tattered corners of the cover, I would classify this book as Used - Fair. I wish I could have trusted the description a bit more...

This book was labeled as brand new and the pages are clean but when it came the cover was badly bent.

This is a great review of statistics for ecologists. It's not as detailed as some of my other statistics books but it's got a much more approachable style and for basic concepts it's helpful.

Excellent way to learn statistics, especially in regards to an ecological framework. This book is teaching me more about stats than my actual class, so I owe it any success I have in the field.

This book is a great read to understand statistical tools used to address ecological questions. It has great examples and it is very well written. Feels like I am reading a story book, yet it does not compromise on the depths of concepts!
