Beautiful colors I will continue with this brand as I’ve tried others and they don’t come out as good.

I love getting my nails done but my time has been cut in half. I am not able to go and sit in a nail salon for hours to get my nails done. So I decided to learn how to do them myself. I purchased this set and did them. I was super excited when I received this set. The colors were beautiful. It was easy to apply and use. I think with a little more practice I will be skipping the long line to get my nails done.

I can’t give a full 5 star because all of the colors I got are light and neutral colors. I thought there was red and a couple brighter colors but the colors in the picture and the colors I got do not seem to match.With that being said the product works good and is easy to apply. This is my first time using dip. I developed an allergy to gel polish and press ons do not stay on. I’ve only had the dip on for a day but as far as how it looks and feels and is holding up, I have no complaints. I just wish the colors I got matched more to the ones in the picture.

The colors are nice, they’re slightly different than the photos advertised, but only slightly. I sampled each one and took a photo in natural light from just a window, and then with our bright kitchen light on.This was my first time using dip powder by myself but after years of getting SNS in salons, here are some tips to make things easier:1. Prep your nails!! Use alcohol/ acetone to remove oils from nail and then buff the shiny layer off. This is so important for making it last longer.2. Thin layers of the base coat are key. Don’t glob on a lot of base before you dip . I did 4 very thin layers. This allows for more coverage even after you buff.3. After each dip, allow the powder to soak in for 20-30 seconds before you blow or brush the excess off. This is IMPORTANT.5. Once you have your layers and have applied activator, buff, buff, buff. This is why I do 4 layers because the more you buff, the smoother and cleaner the nail will be. I recommend an electric file or if not that, then a good buffing block. The little file that comes with the kit is NOT sufficient to give a smooth finish. Also here is where you use a file to clean up the shape of your nail.6. For me, after I buffed, I applied one more thin layer of activator. Let that dry for 30 seconds to a minute and add top coat. One layer of top coat gives a really nice satin (not glossy but not matte) finish. If you prefer glossy then just let top coat dry for a minute and add second layer of top coat. 2 coats of top coat will also make the color last longer without breaking and chipping.And that’s that. It was easy and took me about 45 mins to do my nails. Most important steps is prepping your nails (buff the shiny layer off first) and also buffing the powder smooth before your top coat.

I bought this kit a few years back and loved it. But unfortunately this new kit has so much of the clear powder mixed with the glitter dip that you are lucky to get any glitter on nails. You would have to put a ton of layers on to even get a full coverage of glitter unlike the old kit. You did one dip and full glitter. Had to order actual glitter to add to it. Not sure why they change the product.

It's a good starter kit. But the colors are not the same as in the picture. I got dull neutral colors and earth tones and pastels that are skin tone colors.

I bought this for my sister in law because she wanted to try her hand at dip powder. She’s been using my stuff for gel nails for the last few months. This stuff works great and is easy to use. (We do have a nail supplies including a nail drill which makes this easier to work with)These have been on for a little while and still look good. This was her first time trying it so I suspect she will get even better with time.I only paid $12.16 for this whole kit which I think we will get several uses out of it. You really can’t beat the price.If you are wanting to try you hand at dip nails I would definitely recommend this kit. It is a learning curve, but you can get really good looking nails out of this kit once you get the hang of it.**We did use a no wipe gel top coat I already had instead of the top coat that comes with the kit. Not sure if that will make a huge difference)

I bought this as a way to stop over paying at the nail salon and do my nails at home myself. I read review after review (not even just Amazon reviews) and I bought this kit. After using this and another kit I got off Amazon my nails are all wonky now. After a couple days the dip starts to separate from the nail from just about anywhere. My natural nails were quite long when I started doing them myself and as of the last I used this product I now have a few nails that had to have tips put on or are just extremely short compared to what the were 3 months ago when I began doing them at home. However if your not putting it on you natural nail but instead over a tip I haven’t noticed any separation of product from tips, it only seems to be on natural nails. And from the separation of product from natural nail it has made either chunks or slivers of my natural nails to break and fall off. Would return if I could. It does take just about 2 weeks before separation of product from natural nail in the nail bed area. Pots are extremely small as well so if you are planning to have a length of anything more than short/medium you will not be able to dip into the pot.
