I used these to connect my DSC wires from my VHF radio to my Multifunctional fish finder/Chart plotter. Since I wanted to be able to remove my electronics easily if needed, I did not want to have a permanent connections between the two devices. These four pin connectors were perfect. They are easy to install (need to be wired in) and are small enough to tuck up in small places. The are sealed and have a nice tight fit when connect to each other. The great thing is, if I need to take out my radio or chart plotter, all I have to so is un-screw the connector cap and easily pull them apart. Great product and you get plenty for other projects or if you mess up one.

I purchases these for a outdoor lighting project. I used them to connect eight LED strips back to a central connection point. They lock and seal well. The design is good and the product seems well made. The core wires are nice and easy to soder. The connection ends fit together sngly and twist tight. I would recommend taking the time to mark the connection notch on both ends. They are a bit hard to see and it will make your life easier when you go to connect them. All in all a good product that I would by again.

I have used these connectors for various projects and they work great. However, this time when I ordered, they were missing the lock nuts. I emailed the manufacture and the problem was resolved quickly - great customer service. Like with any connector, observe the maximum current and voltage ratings. Things that I like about these connectors are: * Copper wire (not CCA) good for electrical conductivity and the ends are tinned for easy soldering * Good construction * Available in different sizes and conductor count

Good news is they appear to be well manufactured and I can believe they will be waterproof I am presently testing them in freezing winter weather). I got the 4 pin small ones. What I don't like are design flaws: 1) the key which aligns the rotation is very hard to see and it doesn't stick out far beyond the pins so you can't just rotate the plug until the key engages. If you do you will bend the pin. 2) the O-ring which should be captured (but isn't) falls off if you are not careful and then it is not waterproof. At least it is orange and fairly easy to find in the dirt. 3) less serious is that the screw on connector cap between male and female is also not captured. Once you have soldered a wire onto the connector you won't lose it. After using these for 5 weeks I have upgraded my rating. All my previously stated shortcomings are still there but these guys survived 5 weeks exposed to 70 mph winds and subzero weather with sleet and snow. I have 80 connections and none went bad. Meanwhile external 4 conductor security wire got its insulation striped by the weather. I'd say these are a good buy and worth the minor shortcomings. For the alignment I just mark them the first time they are together with a metallic Sharpie.

I've used a lot of these for outdoor lighting projects and they've worked very well. They're easy to use, work reliably, and look good. I haven't had any issues with signal integrity, water intrusion, or overall fit and finish. There a little expensive but I consider BTF-Lighting to be a more reputable manufacturer so you're paying for the consistency of product and quality.

Perfect for extending led lights . Works great, a little difficult to assemble, but the best connector I have found.
