Do I need a new WiFi 6 device to see the full benefit?

No. This modem router works with WiFi 5 and newer devices, so nothing needs replacing. Full WiFi 6 speeds require a WiFi 6 device. Real-world speeds depend on your devices and plan.

Do I need to activate with my ISP after setup?

Plug in the modem, then contact your ISP with the MAC address on the bottom label to activate. Xfinity self-activates via app; Spectrum and Cox can activate by phone.

What speeds should I expect from this modem router?

Your internet speed is capped by your ISP plan, not the modem router. The WiFi rating shows combined WiFi speed, not internet speed. Real-world speeds depend on your plan and devices.

How do I know if my modem router is set up correctly?

Once setup and ISP activation are complete, check the LED indicators on the front. A solid white power and internet LED indicate normal operation. See the user manual for full LED meanings.

Will this work with my home phone or bundled voice plan?

This modem does not support telephone service. A bundled voice plan such as Xfinity Voice will not work with your existing home phone. Contact your ISP for compatible equipment.
