Dimensions Needlepoint Kit, Lakeside Poppies, 16" x 11"

This needlecraft kit comes well organized, contains high quality thread and is quite beautiful with bright colors. The pattern is intricate and some of the colors are hard to distinguish on the canvas so be prepared to use the printed guide quite a lot. I have worked about a quarter of the canvas so far and am really enjoying it.

The canvas is perfectly marked, the thread is a wonderful quality. Directions are easy to follow. Can't wait until I finish it!!

Every single dimension needlepoint I receive I always run out of thread and when I go to replace it but never matches. I’m in the middle of three big projects and all three of them are out of thread and the replacement thread does never match. I’m so disappointed

This is unlike any Dimensions branded kit that I've ever received. There's no real key to follow. It's just a rough sketch of the pattern with the areas layered--not a grid identifying the exact stitches. The fabric has the pattern printed on it, but many areas are unclear and not having a key makes it even harder. It's really more of a free-form, hope you're stitching things correctly just by looking at the photo.

I just finished this piece all but the last stitches to put in the bridge. The colors are gorgeous and, while this was challenging, it provides hours of enjoyment. This is not for beginners but is a nice intermediate piece. It is large enough to be framed or it can be a beautiful pillow.

Love the needlepoint in spite of the cheap thread. Saw the product for $10 more, but chose to check out Amazon...and voila there it was. I bought it to distract me from smoking or eating while I watch TV. It is perfect and even challenging. A great purchase.
