Highly recommended
Used it a few times. 6 pluss hrs each time. Cast well, smooth gears, light weight and relays the line evenly (causing the great casting) matched it with a 7ft Penn Allegiance II ultra light

and it's one of the best reels I've ever used
I have this same series in the Bait casting format, and it's one of the best reels I've ever used. This spin casting version is a great reel as well. It's smooth, reliable, and very well built. I would recommend it to any serious fisherman!

Excellent fishing reel!
This reel operates very smoothly with 10 ball bearings, I expect to catch many fish with it, and I would highly recommend it.

Best reel for the price
Best reel for the price! I've had 2 of these sumpreme xt's. I've landed 20lb pike and 30lb salmon with this reel. It has a great drag system and the reel is very smooth. But the bail spring on my last one broke after a year and pfluger doesn't have the best customer service so I never ended up fixing my old one.

Very happy with this item
Though I am very happy with the Pflueger Supreme XT reel, I can't say the same for the carrier who delivered it to my home.I had found by accident on my driveway opposite of my house as I was clearing snow from my car and nowhere near my front porch. Just glad nobody drove over it before it was found !This is not a reflection of this seller whom I am very pleased with, just disappointed with the one who had tossed in into my driveway as they passed by.
