Measure twice, order once.
I ordering the wrong size out of carelessness so I ended up having to machine some spacer bushings to adapt them for a 1 inch scope. I put them on a .22 air rifle and so far the scope hasn't moved after 2 tins of pellets. They seem durable enough to hold up well. I'd consider ordering this brand again but next time I'll make sure to order the right size for my scopes.

They Work
[This is the same review for the Low, Medium and High UTG 30mm Weaver Mount, See-Thru Scope Rings]Okay, this is a scope ring. What do you expect - they mount on the rail, they hold a scope. Actually these receive the 5 star rating for a number of reasons - with ONE drawback. The Drawback: They say 'See-Thru' which is technically true. However you are looking through a slit in the low rise base that is maybe a 1/4" high opening - so if you can adjust your "cheek to stock weld" AND you can see below both the ocular and objective lenses AND you can still see the rifle's sights - then they are 'See-Thru'.These are one of the 'true' Weaver mounts still available [not Picatinny' rail mounts] and the only ones I've found that fit on a Savage [semi-proprietary - not quite Picatinny, Mil-Spec or Weaver] scope base. The fit and finish are excellent - nice matte - seemingly durable finish.I've used these and mid-rise and high rise on a couple of rifles for varmint scopes so I can attest they hold zero consistently. Two things I do not know: 1. If they hold zero once removed and replaced on the mounting rail/base since I don't remove optics except with 'quick-release' fittings for 'tactical' rifles. 2. I do not know how well they hold up and are durable with heavy calibers - the largest caliber I've used these on is 5.56mm.I currently have mounted 4 scopes using UTG 30mm rings and have experienced and have had no complaints for rifles from 22LR, .17 HMR to 5.56 mm and 5.7 x 28. They do the job as well as rings costing 10x as much.Pros:Cost/PriceFinishEase of Use [the flat top on the ring makes it very easy to level a scope - simple mounting screws with provided allen wrench]Seemingly durableConsistency in product quality [4 different sets low, med, high - all with the same build quality]Value for the dollarCons:Low rise are not really functionally 'See-Thru'Personally, I would and do recommend this product and would suggest [unless you know specifically where your L.O.S. and objective lenses are on the rifle] that you buy the set of three - low, medium and high so you get the best fit for scope, rifle and shooter. For comments on seller - see seller feedback.

Plenty good enough for my precision pellet gun.
Going on a precharged pneumatic air rifle so no recoil to deal with. These are generally a good value for the money just don't expect Leupold or Burris quality because you aint gonna get it. I have a Wheeler scope installation kit with alignment bars, torque screwdriver and medium lock tight compound etc. so I can over come some shortcomings if need be. Do a proper job of installing the rings and scope and these are plenty good enough for the money. Now if you like nicer shinny bits then by all means order up an $80 set of rings from Germany or the UK. This is my third set of these rings.

Took a little modification to work.
Not bad for the price. I had to file down the bolts that held the mount to the weaver base. The slots in the base were smaller than the bolts that mounted the mount. No big deal just meant there was as much material as possible for strength. But caused my mount to rock till remedied. The thing I didn’t like was the head of the bolt didn’t have a real shoulder nor did the base for the bolt head to rest against. So as you tighten the base the head slowly recessed into the mount. Al though plenty tight as to not move. A definite shoulder on the mounting bolt and the base would make this mount much more secure and not take much to change the design. It would make it easier for people to strip or ring off the bolt but anyone paying attention wouldn’t have a problem. Over all satisfied. It did what I needed it to.

Good purchase
Seems to be a strong mount. Working well, reasonable price would buy again if needed.

Great deal for the price
There rings are actually of great quality, pretty unbelievable at this price. Sure, they're not "tactical" looking, but they do exactly what they're supposed to: hold a scope solidly in place.I put these on my Marlin XT-22 and mounted a Mueller APT scope on them. They fit and finish is great, the job was a breeze. They actually come with little velvet-like strips of liner glued to each half. I'm not entirely sure if it's supposed to stay on for mounting, but I left them on since it seems to protect the scope's finish and yet still hold it firmly in place. Now, I do need to state a few things. I mounted these on a .22LR rifle, and for that purpose they are perfect. I'm not sure I would use them for a high caliber rifle, but I'm guessing they would do the job just as well. The other thing you need to know is that these are not as low as some other low rings. If I recall, they come in right around .35 inches or so, so between the 1/4" low and 1/2" medium of some other rings.Overall, I'm very happy with this product, highly recommended.

Arrived on schedule. Fit and finish are excellent. Years ago I found that most flashlights that use 3 AAA batteries have a tube/body diameter right at 30 mm. Install the ring around the middle of the light. If the light is a little loose inside the ring, wrap a couple of layers of black electrical tape around the lights tube/body {where the ring was installed} then reinstall the ring. Should be really snug. Install the whole thing on a rail and you are set. Saves you a lot of money on expensive lights and batteries. I have done this to over a dozen rifles and shotguns over the years and it works great. Be sure to use blue loctite on all the screws.

Better than the factory ones
I've had some issues in the past with stripping the nut on this type of mount but these have held up well. if it strips you can fit a standard size nut on easily enough and blue it to match.

Just What I Ordered
These rings were exactly what I ordered, they arrived quickly, fit perfectly and I am very happy with my purchase. I used them to mount a scope on a Crosman Phantom and on a Harrington & Richardson single shot .17 Sportster rifle.
