Successfully use this on my fifth wheel and have the comfort of knowing it will help avoid a towing catastrophe. The chains are solid.

We had a Reese gooseneck hitch installed on our rv and when it was delivered they failed to include the safety chains. These chains are heavy, welds appear solid, and installation was a breeze. The bolts included in this kit are too thick for the Reese pre drilled safety chain holes, but the kit included multiple attachment methods. Happy with this purchase.

This is a nice set of chains. The only issue is the locking device on each hook closes smallish, and thus if you anchor point is a little less than 1/2, such as OEM tie downs in a Ram, this hook won't close. Just FYI. But, the chains are solid.

Nice heavy duty set of safety chains and simple to install.

The chains, hooks, bolts(grade 5) and eye connections were in good condition and appears to be good quality. However, one of my shackles was over drilled( hole was too big) and the threads were not sufficient to secure the bolt. You could turn it by hand when it was fully closed. Amazon sent me an entire new kit.Check your shackles when you get the kit
