EBIN NEW YORK 5 Second Detangler for Wig 8.5 oz / 250ml

I’ve just literally used this for the first time. First impressions, this stuff smells amazing, the texture is non sticky - it’s almost milky, a little goes a very long way. Detangling is a breeze, which is great, as most of my synthetic wigs are around 65cm long and wavy, making them prone to frizz and tangling. The trigger mechanism is a bonus, makes it so much easier to use compared to pump sprays. Tip: turn the little white clamp under the trigger to the front to use the spray, and back to the side to lock it. I will update this review tomorrow, giving my final impressions once this wig treatment has had a chance to dry. But so far, I’m really impressed. Edit: The product has now sat on my synthetic wig overnight and is completely dry. After brushing my wig through with a wig paddle brush, the waves are more defined and textured, there is a hint of shine, but nothing that makes it look “wiggy” it smells divine and looks better than when I bought it. Bear in mind, this is a new wig that I haven’t even used or washed yet. I am very impressed with this product, and will test it further on a freshly washed wig - one that is even longer and curlier. I will update again once completed. EDIT: I’ve now used this on older wavy wigs that are waist length. The results were amazing, I absolutely love this stuff! This conditioner/detangler will definitely help extend the life of synthetic wigs, just remember to always brush wigs starting at the ends and gradually work up to the roots. I cannot recommend this highly enough, I’ve almost finished my first bottle and will be buying more.

Had an issue with the first bottle as the lid wasn’t secure and it leaked in transit. The seller saw my comment in the review section and replaced the item FOC. I’d say this is a fantastic product. It really works. I’d definitely recommend. The customer service was great too with replacing the product so quickly.

It does detangles but I've had better at hydrating.

I bought this for a wig to make brushing it out easier and it definitely does that job, well enough for me to start using it on my own hair. It's a great detangler on fake and real hair and smells amazing.

This was the product I didn’t know I needed all these years!It detangles even wet hair. Works really well. Would highly recommend.

It does help untangle wigs but it also dries it out faster on the ends. Does make hair smell nice though.

I bought this because I found a big faux fur coat in a charity shop for £1.50. It was a bit tatty and matted but had plenty of life left in it if I could detangle the fibres. I gave it a gentle but thorough brush in all directions (which took forever) then sprayed this from about 30cm; brushed it through in all directions again, and then smoothed the fibers with my hand in the direction that they’re meant to go. After it dries, it looks so much better. The pic shows the nearest sleeve before, and the rest after treatment. Great product!

After spraying onto wigs (both synthetic and real hair types) the material is rejuvented and restores the original shape. The wigs feel great again, and make it easier to comb and remove knots.
