These doorstops are beautiful. They're heavy, solid and the curvature gives them a timeless appeal. We’re using them to hold a heavy wooden door over a wood floor. Rubber and wood stops weren’t effective. We had a metal stop with a ribbed rubber sole that was better but our cats could still push the door open if they tried hard enough. We’d resorted to stacking 40 lb boxes against the door. This doorstop works so well. It doesn’t budge. Remember to remove the clear piece that coves the bottom. There is no sliding from above where the wedge meets the door, or below, where the wedge rests on the floor. The holder is very convenient. We used to kick our other wedges out of the way, then have to look for them when it was time to close the door. The clear wall protectors are a plus. We look forward to using them elsewhere in the house. We’re so pleased with this purchase and highly recommend this product. For our area, we got one day shipping with our Prime subscription.

I changed the light switches and the plug switches to a brushed silver where I live. I needed door stoppers because of the wind slamming doors shut and this matched the room perfectly. They look sleek and sexy! Viva la brushed silver!

Great product, they work really well. The problem I have with them is that the holder that adheres to a door or a wall kept falling off until it wouldn't stick any longer

What can you say about a door stop? Any one will work. It is a small thing, but these are made of sturdy metal and look very modern and nice. I really like the fact that they come with a little holder that attaches right to the door making it very easy to find and use the stopper. And the little clear "buttons" that attach to the wall and prevent the door handle from bumping the wall are an added and worthwhile bonus.

The door stopper is a very nice style. We used it for the door to our front office, and within a few months the rubber on the top of the stopper peeled off and it doesn't work anymore. Even though there are 2 in the set, I expect we will have the same problem with the second door stop. Bummer.

For a doorstop, these are quite nice. They look nice, have a decent weight and generally work as intended. The grip on the bottom isn't super strong, a door can still be pushed open by an over zealous cat but if you wash the dust off the bottom regularly they stay better. The sticky part of the holder is great, I moved one several times and it's stayed in place since. Love these.

I had been looking for a stopper that’s a little taller than others. I had a gap that was higher than most doors. I like that it works on rugs and tiles depending on which side you use. The holder is a nice touch and keeps the area from being cluttered.

The adhesive on the shoes that hold the stops just peels off the shoe. It will stick to the door or wall or whatever, but the shoe won't stick to it. The stops are so heavy it won't take long for them to fall. The vendor will tell you to wait 24 to 48 hours for the adhesive to stick to a surface, but I guarantee that adhesive was stuck to the shoes I got with my stops a lot longer than that. I had trouble even getting the waxed paper protecting the adhesive off without peeling both off the shoes, the adhesive stuck to the waxed paper better than it did the shoe.edit: They were very prompt in offering and issuing me a refund after this review was posted, so I can't complain. Hopefully they will re-engineer those shoes out of a material the adhesive will stick to. If you don't intend to use the shoes anyway the stops themselves are fine and are slip resistant on smooth and slick surfaces as well as rougher surfaces.

Its incredibly strong! It holds a door that is big and strong and the holder to keep it out of the reach of little hands is brilliant. Just check your door's floor height to make sure you can use it
