I'm pleased with this garage door opener. I initially bought one to replace a 25 year old Genie that was not working well. I liked the new one so much that I bought a second one to replace the other Genie that was installed (have a 2 car garage with 2 single bay doors).I can't speak to the installation process since I had them installed by a garage door company, but the process was so quick that I don't imagine there were any problems to overcome. The combination of the belt drive and the DC motor makes for very quiet operation. The remotes come pre-programmed, and it's easy to reprogram them. For example, I programmed one remote so that one button opens the left side door, and another opens the right side door. The "learn" button is on the wall pad (in addition to being on the side of the motor unit) so it's a snap to program new remotes or the exterior keypad.It's not a heavy-duty unit. It's fine for my single bay doors, but I would probably get something more beefy if I had a single 2-bay door. But for single bay doors this works just fine.Very good value for the price.

This garage door opener is great! WiFi capability to install the app with notifications when the garage is opened and closed. Could even open/close the garage right from my phone!!! The performance is great. Love how quiet it is! Came with 2 remotes, key pad entry option, and WiFi capability. Best purchase!

I ordered a pair of these while on sale to replace a couple of older Craftsman chain drive units that still worked fine. I continue to be amazed and how much quieter these are. These newer belt drive units are a tremendous improvement in both noise and vibration. The new units also link with our in-vehicle homelink remotes much more easily. I wish I had made this upgrade earlier.

I have set up quite a few garage door openers, so I know easy assembly or difficult assembly. This unit was easy until I assembled the belt assembly. The main reason is that the illustrations are so small, the details are difficult to make out. Remember, the belt goes through the opening before the pulley. Also, the trolley requires you to try to figure out which way the spring goes on, and then after it is assembled you use a screwdriver and pliers to release the spring tension, BANG. Otherwise, everything was pretty typical. I like the new door adjustment system. No more screw adjustments, just use the arrows to slowly bump the door until it is closed, then the same for open, then push center 'set' button. The computer then sets the tension by sounding an alarm, then closing and opening automatically.The motor is very quiet and smooth. When closing, the motor slows for the last 6 inches. For the price, I am impressed with the high quality and full accessories. YES, I received the large wall mounted, button panel with LCD. I don't plan on using it though. I just fasten a wireless remote to the wall. I highly recommend this garage door opener.

Arrived with a few box dents, but product was secure. I've installed two garage door openers before, and the instructions were good enough. I did have to research a couple details. The rail between the wall header and the opener was not as strong as the one I replaced but works well enough. The primary installation issue I experienced was my oversight, but the instructions were not specific enough. I exercised the up and downs buttons when the instructions said to, but the door would not work, and the lights would blink multiple times. Turned out I had to exercise the doors in an exact sequence and to the precise raised and lowered position for it to save properly and work. Solved after multiple information searches. Operates very quiet, even compared to another Craftsman belt drive that's a few years older. With a specific myQ app, the opener can join a Wi-Fi network and be managed from a mobile device. However, it is not compatible with Google or Apple Home (c'mon, even my water heater is Google compatible). I have an older BMW with HomeLink and it is not compatible. I talked to HomeLink and had to buy a bridge device. I guess this is somewhat common in earlier HomeLink transmitters and the openers that have a yellow Learn button. Overall, it's working well. Fast, quiet, and can be managed remotely. 4 stars.

Arrived in good condition, replaced a 27 years old one and this one seems just as good, very quiet and works great , love the App addition where you can operate the door from anywhere , great value for the money.

We bought this garage door opener when our old one finally gave out. It was also a Craftsman and endured 13 years of opening and closing the garage door several times per day. This model has a built in WiFi controller so you can open and close the garage door with a smartphone or tablet. Be sure to read installation instructions because you will need to program the remotes and keypad. That was the most difficult part of the install. Highly recommend!
