I was afraid that nothing was going to work on a 10 year old TV
This remote control was inexpensive, easy to set up, and met all of my expectations and needs the first time I used it. I am thrilled. I returned the two brand-new Universal remotes I had purchased at Walmart days earlier. The extra plus was that I received the remote in less than 48 hours of my order.

Broken spring in battery compartment
My first remote was broken. One of the springs in the battery compartment was pushed flat, meaning the batteries rattle around inside and are unable to power the remote as it is not a complete circuit. Amazon sent me a replacement, which was broken in the exact same way. Not sure if a fluke or someone at Panasonic sabotaged all of the remotes but do NOT purchase!
