Great sound!
There are tons of products on Amazon, and I've had many disappointing experiences when a product from a lesser known brand arrives. They end up being great paperweights and/or motivating me to spend more on something better.I needed some decent sound for my outdoor patio area. After looking around for a while, I landed on the Boss as the best "bang for the buck" option. I have been using a Tech-Life BeatBlock for 6+ years and it still delivers today. I've tried many others but keep coming back to the BeatBlock. The Boss packaging lets you know that you've purchased a premium product right off the bat. This company isn't messing around. I am not a hardcore audiophile, but I enjoy high end sound. To give you a sense of the sound I'm used to, I have a set of Fostex TR-X00s attached to a Schiit DAC/AMP in my office, a Bowers and Wilkins setup for home theater, and Bose QC35s for travel. I'm impressed with the sound from this speaker. Clarity is good, mids/highs come through and sound good, bass has depth/warmth without being over the top or muddy. Overall super responsive/clean for this price point. Everybody that hangs out on my patio comments on the sound coming out of the speaker and a couple friends have already used it to charge their phone. That's one speaker in a 30'x20' space; I'm definitely getting a few more to link up for larger spaces. If you're in the market and researching options: Look no further -- you've just found your life hack. You're not going to find better sound without spending multiples more.

Amazing sound from this little speaker; great company!
I purchased two Tech-Life Boss speakers for my recently remodeled deck. I had the option to install powered speakers because the deck was 'pre-wired' and I initially decided on a set of Klipsch outdoor speakers (I think Klipsch speakers have great sound and are reasonably priced). However, after considering the day-to-day use of a wired system, I changed my mind and started looking for Bluetooth options. After quite a bit of searching, I came across Tech-Life. I liked the size of the Boss speaker, and the fact that you can link several speakers (up to 100!) together was a nice feature. Also, the Boss is waterproof, which was an important aspect since the speakers would be on the deck most of the time. I also appreciate that Tech-Life is a US company and I wanted to support a small business. I've had the speakers for several weeks now and I'm really impressed! The sound quality is fantastic - very nicely balanced for such a small speaker. I have listened to other similar speakers and it seems like a lot of manufacturers think excessive bass is a selling point, but what you usually get is a muddled 'boomy' sound with no clarity. The sound engineers at Tech-Life did a great job with the Boss speakers and have designed a very small speaker capable of generating a warm, rich sound and great range. Highs are crisp, but not brassy, and the low end is solid and punchy. Again, quite unexpected from such a small speaker. Also, the build quality is very impressive; the speakers have a nice weight and I like the soft-touch finish on the control top. I did have an issue with one of the speakers after about two weeks of use. The speaker would fully charge, but not stay on when unplugged. Tech-Life was quick to provide a pre-paid shipping label to send it back for repair. The repair did take a little longer than I was initially told, but George at Tech-Life was very responsive and friendly when I emailed for updates, and he even arranged to send me a free 'micro' version of their speaker to make up for the delay (the micro also sounds great and fits in the palm of your hand!). I have been using all three speakers, trouble-free, for the past month. With the Tech-Life speakers, I have created an outdoor, surround-sound experience, with wireless convenience and small footprint. I've had friends over to hang out on the deck and they are surprised by immersive sound coming from these little guys. I am really happy with the Tech-Life speakers and think they are worth considering if you are looking for a great-sounding, affordable speaker - a welcome alternative to some of the more well-known options, such as SONOS (the Boss sounds better in my opinion!).

Solid Speaker! Competes with the top brands
VERY IMPRESSED! I used to travel alot (work and personal) and I went through quite a few portable speakers. At the most, they were compact and fit well in luggage, duffels, or backacks but never really had great sound quality.I hadn't really heard of this brand before, but live in San Diego and had recently seen the brand around, so I thought I would give it go since I was in the market for another one. While it isn't the most compact speaker, it really packs a punch. The design is simple, but good quality build.I bought the speaker right before the holiday Easter weekend and I had two backyard parties. It handled very impressively indoor and outdoor. Indoor it has a full well-rounded sound and doesnt lose that at its peak. The bass is substantial (when tested) but doesnt get the static (over stretched) sound that you can get with sub-par subs. It SHINES outside though...it filled up the whole yard and was quite clear!I like the idea of them being able to connect to eachother, and while that could get pricey, it seems that several of these connected could really blow it out!

I NEED 99 more
Have you ever felt the disappointment when you hit max volume on your travel speaker but everything about it is wrong?Enter the BOSS. The name says everything you would think about a speaker with a name as such. The volume even at max is crisp, clear and loud. Normally travel speakers are meant to be your secondary speaker but not this guy. The look is great both in my home and at the park as my on the road and home speaker system. PLUS it connects to 100 speakers. I will definitely be buying more for all the festivities this summer has in store. I’ll have to have Tech-Life call my neighbors to apologize.
