Midwest US to Central Europe with 2 cats
We bought 2 of these carriers to bring our cats as we moved from the US to Europe. My cats are about 12 pounds each and I'd say they were about as big as I'd want them to be in these carriers. We did put the carriers out, opened up, in our living room, continuously, starting about 8 weeks before our flights so the cats could get used to them (they actually enjoy laying in them anytime they're out).Pros:*These also fit on top of our suitcases very well (you still need to hold a bit to just help your pet feel stable, even though there's a slot for your suitcase handle to go through)*Pockets! You can see in one photo I have a yellow folder in the back pocket with all the travel paperwork for the cats. There's another small pocket on top for whatever you need - I put some wipes in a ziplock bag and a couple poo bags in case something happened, plus their medications for the trip.*The flexible side openings. We had a 2 hour layover, so I was glad to give them some space to spread out a bit.*Openings on either end, plus a smaller top opening. I used the top opening to partially unzip on a flight and give them each a squeezee treat.*They fold up flat for storageCons:*A little bit big for some planes - our first flight had smaller under seat compartments and the carrier stuck out into our foot room, but the transatlantic flight was fine. Neither flight could have had the sides expanded*Our cats were heavy, so it was a bit uncomfortable carrying them from gate to gate with the shoulder strap.Overall: Yes, if I had to do it again, I'd get these same ones- so I recommend them. These made the crazy experience of moving overseas with my cats just slightly less crazy! My cats were comfortable, I was able to fit a peepad in the bottom for accidents (none happened!), and they still like them to lay in whenever we get them out.If anyone is curious, I found a family/single stall bathroom on our layover where I used a popup litterbox (also got on amazon) and our litter pellets, plus I offered food and water in pop up dishes. Cats weren't interested in the food or water, but one did use the litter box. United Air and Customs were all helpful and everyone seemed to know the drill for people with pets.

Roomy "pop-up camper" for your pet.
This product comes in two sizes. We eventually bought both sizes for our miniature dachshund and use both. The larger one is great for extended stays when visiting friends. The smaller one fits nicely in the car and is great for short trips with the dog. The dog can enter/exit through either end or the top when zipped open. When the sides are zipped up (closed) it is a convenient carrier. Just be sure to make sure the sides are folded in properly to give the pet enough room to move around. When the sides are extended the pet has a better view of their surroundings and our dog is more relaxed and comfortable for long periods of time. With the side wings extended we sometimes put food and water for the dog in one of the wings. Either wing can be extended or retracted by itself. Both wings can be extended or retracted at the same time. There is a lightly padded bottom (sherpa) to the carrier that also folds out into the wing extensions. The pad cover is removeable for cleaning. The carrier is a sturdy construction. Our dog has used one for many hours without showing signs of wear. If necessary for storage the carrier will fold flat. It comes with two side handle straps that are held together in the handle with Velcro, making for easy carrying. There is also a shoulder strap for carrying.Overall we really like this carrier and use it frequently.

American Airlines and My Yorkie
In my flight from Arkansas to Alaska was great. I bought this travel carry on for my Yorkie. Great ventilation. Light weight and very comfortable for my fur baby. When not in use, fold it up . Great for fur babies in vehicles . Easily accessible. Compartments for water and kibble. I put a training pad over the sturdy take out support. Can readily access pet through front or back zipper entrance. So glad I got this for air travel or vehicle travel. If you get a first row, priority seat, make sure your seat is behind other seats. This carry on has to fit under the seat in front of you with pet inside. Do make reservations for your pet also. When my fur baby is comfortable, everyone is happy. My Yorkie weighs 5.5 pounds and this travel crate is as light as a feather. I WOULD recommend it to carry your pet.Always find out the dimensions for flight travel. It has a shoulder sling or the shortdouble fabric handles. All paperwork for flight fit perfectly in a compartment on top. Look at the fold out rooms that are a plus.Glad I found this one within a reasonable price range. Was delivered on time without a glitch!

Good & sturdy; sw airline approved
I got this for my pups first trip flying. 6pound mini Doxie, 5.5 months. He had plenty of room. I was able to extend one side to give him extra space due the flight and still fit under the seat. He slept in it each night with both sides extended. We seat belted it in the backseat of the car and used it was a car seat too. Would purchase again.

Great value for the quality and features
I purchased this carrier because it has the same features as a more expensive brand (Mr. Peanut’s). And this carrier was about $30 less expensive. Overall, good quality and functionality. Compared to the Mr Peanut brand this carriers zippers close less smoothly and the mesh lining isn’t a sturdy. Could be problematic if your pet scratches at the mesh. I only needed the carrier for one trip and considered going with this one but ultimately returned it because while introducing my puppy to the carrier he scratched at the mesh. I didn’t want to risk it getting torn mid-flight.

Excellent cat or small dog carrier. Comfortable and roomy.
The media could not be loaded. If you have a kitten or young cat this carrier will work great. So easy to get my cat to go in on his own. He loves stretching out when the sides are down. I let him play with his toys in it and have left it on the floor open for a week to allow him to feel safe and enjoy it. Will start using it officially in the car this week and will update here if anything else can be mentioned.
