Ordered a Mattress Encasement but received a Box Spring Encasement instead, maybe they're the exact same thing with a different name. I needed it right away so I put it on the 9" mattress anyway. It's a little big and created a very large air bubble that was hard to get out, had the kids roll around on the top, then sucked the rest out with the vacuum hose, that seemed to do the trick. I like the textured cloth top and it does not make that weird crunching plastic sound when laying on it. Good value for the money, just wish it fit a little more snug to the mattress.

Was worried coz box said box spring cover but I guess it’s for either. The terry top has a lining that makes it waterproof. If a cat or dog or grand gets sick on the bed it will be easy clean up in washer and it covers my beautiful new mattress!

I bought a TempurPedic bed about 8 years ago, and it's just a little over 10" deep. I looked at mattress pads of all kinds, and found that nearly all of them (like fitted sheets today) are made for 10-14" deep. That means the pad, or the sheet, loosens up into uncomfortable wrinkles. But THIS mattress pad not actually fits my mattress, it's unlike any I've had before - it covers the entire mattress, zipping up easily once I got it around the entire mattress. Excellent value.I haven'e tried to test its water resistance, so that's why I didn't rate that quality at the highest level. I hope I never do!!
