The Tracker's Dawn (Mate Tracker Book 5)

Sorry, while I loved books 1-3. I did not care for the plot direction and pacing in books 4-5.Never liked Jake, but I maybe could’ve gotten over that in time, but didn’t like the midnight witch and the hybrid plot line. Still don’t like Jake.She needed more time with her family and developing relationships. After books 1 and 2 - she never tracked down another mate for her agency. Then the author destroyed her agency.Basically we ended up with crisis to crisis enemies and nowhere was there time for good character interaction and growth. We never got to explore the rich world and character developments of creating a pack, magical society etc…instead we get a crazy person running around killing people for fun.Midnight witch was an idiot and should’ve died in book 3Having different plot twists doesn’t necessarily make a good story hook.Also the twist with Stephen in the previous books was a pretty hard twist considering book 1.Summary:Didn’t like JakeNeeded better pacing and character developmentNeeded to explore the rich magical worldMidnight witch and hybrids shouldn’t have existed and a different villain should have been thereNever using her tracking powers effectively again after book 2.

This final book is explosive! There is so much happening all at once! Mekare has unleashed hybrids all over the city. Jake's arranged marriage has been moved up. Time is running out and fast for everyone! Jake has finally won me over! I didn't really like him in the first two books but he has redeemed himself.Everything leads up to one epic conclusion. Action, adventure, intrigue, sadness, despair, heartbreaking moments and the love of all the people around you. This book has it all!This is a fantastic series and I hate to see it end! Seriously why do all good things have to end? So not fair! Maybe we can get a novella in the future to see how our favorite characters are. I really want to know how things go between Toni and her bio dad Travis!I highly recommend!

I wasn’t ready for this series to finish but it finished oh so beautifully!! I’ve literally grown with these characters and laughed with them and cried with them and I’m so sad to see them go. But I cannot say it enough!! This was a spectacular way to finish it. I will NOT be giving away anything because each little surprise was like finding another present with your name on it! I can say that this author has become an automatic read for me. And I seriously hope with Lucia’s series I’ll get to see some glimpses of my favorites in the future!!

Seymour saves the best for last with book five of the Mate Tracker series. Toni, Rosalina, Eric, Jake and more have to band together on a larger scale to save their city, and to save Jake from a Blood Pact that his grandfather forced him into. The action is down and dirty, the romance is hot and heartbreaking, and the entire series pulls you in so much you can see yourself in the middle of it with her characters! I can't wait to start her next series of Sunderverse, dealing this time with the baby Sunder, Lucia. Grab this series and devour it, because you will never regret reading it.

Finally! We discover more about the midnight witch. Have our final battle. Toni bags her man. She talks to her dad though I wish there was more there. We don't know what happened to the Craig pack so maybe trouble will appear in another book. I have a feeling Seymour will dabble with Toni's siblings, especially Lucia. Lets not forget get brother shows up on basically the last page. I enjoyed this storyline. I really really want prince kykll's story. He is fierce and I would love more of him.

This ending is epic! I thought they would never kill Mekare. It took forever for Rosalinda to hook up with Damien. Now that I finished this series I see why Lucia decided to accept the scholarship. Her skills are legendary. However, they don't hold a candle to Toni's. She saved so many people. And holy hell the night she spent with Jake before they broke the pact was so steamy. That boy knows romance. Although he's mine! 😆

The final book in Toni and Jake's story and it was everything I imagined it would be. I absolutelyoved Toni and Jake as well as their friends and family from the start. This was the perfect ending for these two and I loved how fiercely protective and loyal they were to each other and those they cared about. I can not wait to read more by this author!

This book gripped me from start to finish! There were some twists that I didn’t see coming at the end, and I loved watching Toni come into her power and find her pack. The only thing I wish we could have seen at the end was how her tracking skills changed and seeing her agency come back together!

Loved all of the books. Great story and characters, also none stop action in all books.Great getting to know all of the characters, lots of ups and downs for the team.So happy all ended well and sad that this is the last book. However looking forward to reading about Lucia's story next 💞💞

So many awful things keep happening.Then the hate expands towards families.So many hurtles and heart break.Can anything good come out of this?Loved every second!On another note..at pg 89 I finally grabbed a note pad.I couldn't believe how many errors I kept noticing.P 89 stumble instead of stubbleP 159 Eric ran between Patrick and Eric(should be Ben)Didn't notice anything after that.

I loved the last book, i was sooo waiting for it !! I’m happy with the way it ended although I felt like the whole book mostly happened in the last like 10% of the book so I most likely am gonna have to re read it to make sure I didnt miss anything. I’m really glad Toni got to make up with Travis. And i was pleasantly surprised by the steamy scene between Toni and Jake ..! Overall, i LOVED it and I always love your books Ingrid Seymour !
